The Article ;)

Not that I believe it, but this is the rumors thread :p

Because I like him and think he's going to be a top player, selling him now would probably mean we'd take a loss, and if we sell Tosic we'd probably take a loss, and if we sell Berbatov we'd take a loss and it's just generally looking like some **** business if it's all true.

There's nothing to suggest that by holding onto them for longer you still won't make a loss or that it won't be an even bigger loss.

You paid a premium price for Anderson and after a promising first season he's looked pretty poor. For you to get anything like the ~£18m back for him then he's going to have to really up his game.

Berbatov was massively overpriced to begin with and his value's only going 1 way and unless he starts playing (which he won't) then Tosic's value is only going to drop too.

I mean Nani to Sunderland? Why would Fergie sell him now he's finding form  got to be false.

I don't know.

Nani and Fergie had a fall out, you don't normally fall out with Fergie and last too long.

He found his way back in to the team, because of a lack of options?

*This isn't my arguement, a friend said this*

Just offereing an opinion, as I don't know.

I still say Ando has a lot to offer, he was just unlucky with that injury this season. Nani should not be sold under any circumstance, he basically kept us in the title race single-handedly at the end of the season. Tosic deserves a chance, can't think why you'd buy someone and then not ******* try them. Especially when they've been pretty damn good on loan and in the reserves, he's certainly played better than Obertan for the reserves yet Obertan has got loads of chances in the first team, makes no sense to me.

I'm not saying you should sell him but that's a slight exaggeration surely?

Admittedly he scored a few goals and became slightly more consistent towards the end of the season but he still wasn't performing week in week out and most certainly didn't single handedly keep you in the race.

he was great towards the end of last season. in fact, bar rooney there weren't many in our team i'd have trusted to make something happen than Nani.

I'd say it's more of the importance of some of his goals which 'helped' them. His goals/assists won the games, although he also helped to lose them too :p

Yes we get it you don't like Ando, but then I remember a lot of people in January saying Nani would never be any good and look at how stupid they look now, you can never write off a young player like that.

Neither of them are good enough often enough, Nani has shown potential, Anderson never will be good enough.

Set up our only goal in the first leg against Bayern, set up our only goal despite being a late sub against Chelsea, Scored 2 against Bayern, then broke the deadlock against Spurs with a top class goal and won the penalty for Giggs at the end. Scored the winner (and only goal) against Sunderland.

He was pretty much our only player that looked like scoring/creating in most of those games, he stepped up when Rooney was injured. That's 6 points he won us in the run in and he almost kept us in the Champions League. Had he started against Chelsea (or had Fergie not been a timid ****) then we might have stood more of a chance.

So him single handedly keeping you in the title race was scoring the winner vs Sunderland and getting your 2nd goal vs Spurs? :p
