to be fair I dont think Carrick has ever had a consistant run of games in the advanced attacking midfield position he prefers

He has nearly always been deployed in the deeplieing protector of the back four role which he isnt best at - Im sure when he was at West Ham and Spurs he was played much further forward, since he arrrived I dont think we have had a back 4 protector/destructive midfielder thats had a good run of games (even Owen Hargreaves only had 20+ games in his best season, which was never in a long run)

I cant believe Ferguson is saying we wont be offloading Berbatov this year.

Which tbh i found a bit strange as hes been one of your worst players this season ie the amount of times hes fluffed up easy goals like in the game against Sunderland...4 chances he missed.

Perhaps Fergie wants to give him another season to prove his worth but personally for a £30mill flop id have wanted to get shot of him while you can still get a few bob for him.
 
That's the thing though, it's best not to listen to Fergie when it comes to transfers.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he sold him tomorrow.
 
West Ham offering Henry 75k a week. Wonder if he will chose to come back to Premier League or go to America like he planned.

Hope he does come back to Prem myself, class player.

Heard about this myself and tbh im pretty sure he said that IF he was to come back to the Prem league...it would be only one team Arsenal that he would come back to.

Dont think West Ham have a chance in hell of getting him as they arent even in Europe so that wouldnt work for Henry and neither are they a big team...were fighting relegation for most of this year and luckily escaped...anyhow im pretty sure hes off to America to play his remaining footballing days there a la Beckham.
 
Oh dear at the perverts promising 'big name' signings to get the STs sold. Nothing will happen, they've done this before. Few free transfers and average players if anything.
