Well his missus zoe lucker doesnt want to leave london.

That leaves arsenal or spurs and harry redknapp said yesterday he believes joe cole has already signed a contract with someone.. you wouldnt of thought that was spurs if hes come out and said that.
 
Rosicky just signed a new contract, Arshavin will probably stay although I could really take him or leave him.

I hope Cole isn't coming in (if he does ..) to replace Fabregas, and I certainly hope Nasri won't either, as he's not good enough to do so yet. I assume Arsenal are willing to pay his wages due to there being no transfer fee, or maybe Cole just wanted to stay in London? Whatever has happened, I'm surprised

If nobody significant leaves and another 1 or 2 join, it looks like Arsenal may finally have some good depth
 
Wilshere is Cesc's successor imo, Ramsey for the box-to-box role. Those two are 2 or 3 years off being automatic starters though.

Just read the Joe Cole rumour is from TalkSport, so it's almost definitely wrong

Edit - John Cross is usually very reliable on all things Arsenal

- also, extremely convenient that this emerges on the day that Barca announce their bid for Fabregas, who plays in the same position. More than likely those horrible Barca ***** trying to play games.

Great from Nani there. I'm happy for him because you can see he idolises Ronaldo and Ronaldo was giving him a good pat on the back :p
 
Nice one on Arsenal...holding firm and telling Barca to shove off...Arsenal shouldnt consider anything less than £40mill simple as that. If Barca want him that bad then pay up or shut up. Toure doesnt want to come to Arsenal, which i find surprising but he would rather go Chelski or Utd from what i was reading earlier today.

If the rumours are true that Cole has signed for Arsenal...awesome stuff, i do like Cole and think he would be well suited for our game.

Can only hope that Wenger now gets rid of the deadwood in our club ie Denilson, Silvestre amongst others. Still surprised that he hasnt or Arsenal hasnt signed a goalkeeper...if we stick with the 2 muppets we have ie Flappy and Almunia then we are never ever going to win anything of note. Hopefully Wenger will sign a goalkeeper and a world class one at that.

It was the headline on the Daily Star on Sunday, so it's not just been released today. No disrepect to Joe Cole, but I think Barca could have linked a better player.

Yaya Toure will go to City or Chelsea, it's purely a question of money.

Hes been at Barca hes an incredibly talented player (not sure they they are off loading him anyway!) he's won alsorts with them, would be a step down to goto Arsenal imo.

Leeds will sign Billy Paynter on a free on 1st July. Didn't see it posted here yet unless I'm blind (probably am).

Another decent signing for Leeds and again on a free, still the full transfer kitty left with another 3-4 people to bring in.
