*** Official Ubiquiti Discussion Thread ***

So there's a rumour on facebook saying that in the Unifi discord they've said the AI Port could support up to 3 cameras.

If so, that could make it a lot more reasonable and in the ball park of closer to £60 per camera to add AI/proper onvif events to 3rd party cameras.

Swithering between getting a Fortress Gateway or a Fortinet 100F for our work site. Everything else we have on site is Unifi (APs and Switches) and coming from a PfSense anything will be an upgrade.

So I decided to have a network rebalance and delved into the world of PPSK. In fairness it works great on my U6 Lite and U6 LR - it's just remembering which passwords are for which networks. Zero issues with IOT devices, ring, Amazon stuff, phones. On a side note, before and after the upgrade I seem to be getting latency on FB/whatsapp video for the U6 LR only, works fine on the U6 Lite. Tried all sorts of settings, complete defaults/tuned and nothing seems to fix it. Anyone else had any similar/weird issues with the U6 LR specifically?

I am debating swapping my current setup of 3x Huawei AX3 quad core routers/AP’s (connected via Ethernet as a mesh) with ubiquiti.
House is around 1650 square foot, I currently have 1 up stairs, 1 downstairs and an AP in the garage.
900 down, 180 up
What would you recommend? U7’s then a cloud gateway?
