I concur, they are great tanks Matt. I attacked, took and held a capture point on my own in an M4A2 76 destroying 5 enemy tanks one evening the only cover I had was the building in the middle of the capture point to move around ...I was on TS with you lot at the time actually. Probably the most sucessful single engagement like that I have had to date. I am not sure how or why I bounced so many shots, I kept thinking ...next one, next one I'm gone! ... had my turrent ring knocked out and managed to repair it too and carry on :p

Your lineup is exactly my American one at the moment, working on the M41 at the minute.

It's a fast tank. Not just fast to move around, but the turret spins ridiculously fast for a tank at its' level, so you can often line up and get that critical first shot in. Reload time is pretty fast, so anyone who misses you with their shot or fails to damage you is facing another incoming shot very quickly. There's been times where I've taken on 2 tanks from in cover, swapping shots between each and keeping them both pinned until I was able to land accurate kill shots on them to finish them off, without them being able to return fire on me simply because of how fast I could lob shells at them!

Armour-wise its' stats aren't fantastic but it seems to do a very good job of bouncing quite a few shots or just getting damaged rather than straight-up knocked out.

Get a lineup of the M4A2 76, M4A1 76, and M6A1 and you're well suited to dishing out a lot of pain, and making Pz4's weep! :D

In reality the M4 had a really slow manual turret traverse, which I think was much slower than pretty much all the main German tanks. Magic Sherman!

Edit - maybe not, I couldn't find anything to back that up. I must be thinking of a different US tank because I was reading about this just the other day.

I have Canberra. Will join you in realistic squad for this, after I've attached a 2nd screen so I can loop that video and lol all through it! :D (Possibly whilst drunk)
 
Can't wait until the Japanese tanks are released.

I've heard their reserve line-up will be crack units.

Yea I've had it for less than 24hrs and its utter pants. Keeps saying no internet connection. But when it's working I do like ready the latest news in the app rather than a web page on my phone.
