Debatable Moeks. Early tier stuff gets researched pretty fast anyway, and you're better off learning how to fly and tank (and also how not to!) for a bit.

Maybe drop 50 Eagles or so on a couple of crew slots, get their vitality and reload speed up a bit.

Also, with tanks - only bother 'crewing' up your first 3 slots. That way you'll keep all your rewarded crew points into just 3 tank slots - which is the most you can take out in 1 battle anyway :)

No harm in hanging onto Eagles for a bit, until you decide if you want to get any premium vehicles either.

They've dropped the BR of the Boomerang! Both of them!!!
Hazzah for the 3.3 BR Boomerang!!! :D

And the A7HE1 is now a 2.3BR!

The Yak-1 of awesome is back in from the cold, now at 2.3BR :D

American P40 now 2.3BR.

Sorry, Matt, but they nerfed your JU87 D-5 up to 3.7.

To be fair, tho, that might have been us that caused that :cool: :D :p
 
Yea the KV-2 getting up rated was always coming. Great to see the boomerangs getting down rated though. Shame I can't fly till I get this damn cast off!!

Normally I would agree with you, except both the D520's are premiums AND they're lesser-known ones at that. While we have them, others don't and don't seem too fussed about their existance, so I left them out.
The Boomerangs, however, have recently been part of a competition, many people have at least one, and there has been a long-running discussion about how smeggy their 4.0 battle rating is. I was much happy to see their reduction, and they will be immediately included in my "Money" lineup of planes that utterly dominate and make me good cash at 3.0-3.7BR. To say I am tickled-pink by their BR change is a major understatement.

And it is likely that the D520, and possibly its brother, will be what they replace in said lineup.

yea the boomerangs are pretty sweet, 4.0 was too high a BR for them, but you could get away with taking them out - with a bit of luck and even dare I say it, a smidgen of skilled flying. @3.3they will rock your world.
hell gaijin can limit us to 3 planes now if they want.........2 boomerangs and a spit IIB......yes 'swear word' please

I just had a nerdgasm in my pants. Imagine the destruction a 4-man OcUK squad would wreak upon the enemy team with that lineup.... :p

Elmuzzy - will keep an eye out for you once you're added to squadron, im usually up for a spot of ultra-low level tankings. :)

Crank your reloading speeds, coz those cannons have about 60 shots in them then they're out.

oh and I forgot to mention the premium typhoon.....saviour that for a moment.....spit IIB......2 x premium boomerangs and a premium typhoon...maybe add in the premium DB7.....all in the same line up.....need I go on or shall we just stop there......
 
How does the match-maker work currently for Arcade silliness?

I am grinding out a nice russian tank setup and want to maximise the slaughter.:D

I currently run level BR's but often fight far higher BR's. Whats the deal? Some sort of average? So i can drop a KV in there with some fluff for the lols?;)
 
When I see a KV2, I normally scream and run away. I have however, managed to kill one in my mighty T50 (from very close range).

I've been playing this for the last month or so and I'm quite enjoying it, apart from having to play arcade mode (the wait for the other games is too long). I started with German tanks and worked my way up to a Stug III F and Panzer IV F2 but decided to try Russian tanks after continually getting smashed by T34s, KV1's and KV2's. Now I have my KV1, it feels like I'm continually getting smashed by Panzer IV F2's and Stug III F's :rolleyes: (<- aimed at myself).
Now I'm not expecting to be the dominant tank in any match I play, of course not, but I can't work out where I'm going wrong. I read a few pages back about the Battle Rating calculation, so looked at mine and saw that the KV-1 ZiS-5 was taking me into a higher bracket (I did have some matches against Panther and Tiger tanks) so I took it out. Now I'm not facing those tanks (phew!), but still struggling a bit.

I was going to ask for advice (any advice is still welcome of course), but I've just read a previous post by matt_fsr which has some good tips that I'll work on.

Any chance I can join the OcUK squadron?
