After trying that low detail option i can see the advantage and also know why some idiot can shoot from across the map even tho if the gfx were up u should be in cover and hard to spot an inch of the tank. What i dont get either is at them distances shouldnt the pen of the weapon be far less so long range shots shouldnt one shot kill or at least be harder for the attacker.

At least i think in wot there is a min detail hardcoded into their game to prevent this. Weird how these guys havent done it.
 
One thing i dont like is the suicide planes in the game, i hate how they use them as they do if they cant fly them properly they shouldn't use em and they should be penalized for suicide runs imo as its rampant i have found in the games ive played so far. I wish you could turn planes off for tank battles. They are annoying and not needed.

Yup, everybody hates them but theyll never get removed, as with everything else if you can't beat them, join them. I tend to bomb either premium tanks or the ones people are trying really hard not to get killed in.

I've found a new 'thing' for my bombs in tanking. Killing AA units. Because all they do is sit at spawn, and waste valuable space on your team which could have been filled with ACTUAL TANKS FFS!!! :mad: (especially seeing Gaz 25mm trucks in BR 5.0 and higher tank battles. lolwut?)

So now I take deliberate steps to target AA vehicles, especially as some of them can be badly hurt or even die to just your plane ramming them.
 
**** me the last 5 games have made me want to put my monitor through.

Gimp teams plus the jagdTIGER is now getting dropped into every 6.7 match ive played, cant kill it with anything in any of my lineups!

I find the reverse speeds of some of the tanks utterly retarded, i find it really hard to believe that so many tanks in reverse mode would find it hard to get past "arthritic turtle" speed. Not sure where they get their info regarding speeds but some of it really raises an eyebrow. I seen one video a while back of an elephant tank going faster in reverse than it could going forward.

And as said above planes are a pain in the ass, nothing but suicide runs. :(
