i'll try and get on this weekend but were having a big snowstorm on sat night/ sunday and are expecting 12" of snow. So we may lose power :(
 
Had myself a fun time last night. When my net dropped out for a sec I was left playing alone for 1 match, level 5's, mostly with my bumfighter Vlc. I racked 19 kills with the loss of one beau (used a backup), then failed to take a screenshot!!!
Later, nobbling around with Matt_fsr, and scored 7 kills in a hurricane mk.1, landing to repair halfway through and having an enemy miss me with a bomb on our airfield! Only died coz I ended up in their spawn zone, swatting them 1 by 1, and 3 guys spawned simultaneously and had me. Killed one and crippled another first, tho.

Yesterday was a good day :D

I have had it for a few years and it has some great features for the price and I like the rudder axis being on the throttle instead of the twist grip. In the end I bought a new stick because the black widow has a deadzone on the outside of the stick axis' so that 100% is about 80% movement all the way around and there is nothing that can be done about it, it is a design decision.

Combine that with the fact that the axis is not that long anyway I found myself lacking control in a few games. I imagine that it would be ok for this game though.

Some nice formation flying today with the H6K4's until i crashed into Boycee.. guess you shouldn't make a turn while in bomb sight mode and in formation lol.

Get the 3 Chaika's first. 2 are premium at lvl 1 and 5, but they will rip and roar up beyond lvl 10, sometimes further. Very worth it. The Laggs are crap, so stay off, and the La tree is not well thought of due to cost vs benefit reasons. Yaks are good, I like the PE3's, especially the "early" and "bis" models. All of the American lend-lease russian planes are worth a try also. Some are premium tho. Stay with fighters for the russian-made ones. Theres nothing specifically wrong with their bombers, but I've never heard anyone get excited about them, except the IL2, which is a decent ground attacker.

I finally got some group H6K battles. And I have to say it was brilliant!

Please note, my kill score does not reflect the 4 guys who died in a 2 minute turning battle with me after 2 crashed into eachother, and the other 2 slammed into the sides of the little valley we were fighting in. But Im claiming them anyway :D

H6K battles have to be some of the best fun that can be hand in any computer game. You can almost hear the rage from the other team when you land 4 on their airstrip and shoot the turd outta anything that come near:p
 
just seen on steam, for anyone who hasn't already bought it, the ace combat pack is down to 17.99.......total steal if you play a lot of this game

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA ofcourse im right whenever i have planes with cannons especially my YAK 9's i always take out the bombers first. I just love lighting them on fire especially the H6K4 and the PBY's
 
Ive had a few goes on this and its pretty good. Would you guys recommend getting one of the steam packs since they are on offer at the moment?
