i've been downloading the patch most of the afternoon, im at work now so hopefully it will be stable enough for some fun tomorrow afternoon ( your evening ).

btw how did they break the squad? is voice comms still buggered too?

voice comms is buggered again, rev went into a battle without his squad, it randomly kicks people mid battle, it wouldnt let me ready up, can't invite people without a restart etc.

I say that, it may have been fixed in this 85mb update, just no one is online to try it right now

Not played this for a days but downloaded the patch last night, will try and hop on tonight.

If voice in game is broke then feel free to use my Teamspeak (few of us used it the other day, its much better than ingame voice).

pm me if you need details.
 
Busy cloning my 240gb ssd to a 500gb, so can now have few more games installed, and got delivery of joystick today, so am looking forward to trying this out, as well as planetside 2.

Not that I have even touched the other F2P title I have installed - Warframe...

If your going to use the joystick don't go into arcade battles (M&K for Arcade, Joystick for everything else).

Also apply to the OCuK squad :D

May be that with all the changes to 1.37 that have just happened, they've messed something up with allocating the premium planes from the packs.

It might get sorted, or you might need to raise a support request with Gaijin.

Ok, at least it's not me, I'll check again tonight and if they still aren't there I'll raise a support ticket.

Crikey the changes are going to take a while to get used to thats for sure, been used to the old way for so long, sort of like it more this way but confusing me a little at the moment - have they changed the way KB+M works at all, i cant see anything in the notes but its way more twitchy in arcade now (not found the perfect settings for the x52 for realism yet)

I'm still undecided on that...

Depends on what your current level is - I really feel sorry for noobs and new players to this, this update has royally dumped on them from a massive height.

I liked this game because I started playing it alone, and found that I could gain "easy" experience from ground attack on that nice beginner mission, while working out how to fly and shoot well in biplanes, against other biplanes and level 0-1 stuff.

Now, I'll be flying my fully upgraded F4F (old level 5) packing 4x .50cal's, and I'll be matched against Nimrod's, Fury's, I-16's and Ki10's. I know how to fly, and have upgraded pilot and plane skills, and can soak up a fair bit of damage.

My 2.5Kg/s of lead, versus their 0.33kg/s. Balanced? Only towards balancing my kill list higher! :D

It's certainly going to put off new players, when they get hyper-owned in this manner! Sadly this also includes a good friend of mine who just started playing it under version 1.35, and was doing pretty well. The few tier 1 planes that he has unlocked so far will now get murdered by top-end tier 2 stuff in battles. :(
