anyone got the VK3002 DB?
i bought it last night, 50% off :D
my question is, as i have the long 88mm already unlocked from my Tiger,
is it worth spending the 25k xp to unlock the tracks, engine and turret? bearing in mind, that they are not used on the Panther.
or just go straight for the Panther which is only 20k xp?

Nice, just topped up my consumables to 200 Fire Extinguishers, 200 small med kits and 1000 small repair kits, yay - should last me a while. :)

200 fire extinguishers! That should last you a fair while. Luckily its only a couple of weeks since consumables were last on sale as I couldn't buy as many repairs and faks as I wanted then. Will stock up on them sometime this week.

Bought a GwPanther last night got fed up with the Hummel so free xpd the last 6K, also bought a 3001P since they are on sale. Should pick up a DB over the next week as well.

Then need to choose between IS3 and T44 as to what I save up for next.
 
RE: DB

Save any free xp for the E50 as its a mare at stock. If you are going to free XP it, then buying the DB was a bit pointless (I just free XP'd the panther without buying it). I think the short 88 is the best gun on the DB. From what I understand the DB is mean to be a bit of a dog fighter.

The Germans will be getting a second medium with the leopard at the top. It would be worth grinding enough XP (equivelent of the panther to panther II) to unlock whatever the tier 8 tank is going to be on that line from the DB. If you are then I would unlock everything (I'm going to get one on sale and do this!).

EDIT: Its worth spening all your money on consumables. when the sale ends you can sell them again for the same price you paid for them should you ever be short of cash.

Bloody typical. I've almost got my Tiger P, but I can't sell my VK to put towards buying it because I only get half the price thanks to this event. Least my Pz3/4 is nearly up to the VK3001H so I can get that cheap.
