** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

So, re subbed last night and jumped on my old lock, level 87. Good fun! I did a few dungeons. Quested for a small amount of time. Think I will stick it out with the lock. Hopefully push for 88 tonight.

I'm on Frostmane, it seems fairly dead, but says the population is high.

I'm on Frostmane, if you're saying it's dead then I guess you are playing Horde?

Frostmane is about 90%+ Alliance now, Horde moved a while ago.. I still have a couple of horde characters there but will move them as I can't even get gems on the AH it is so dead.

I mainly play my alliance characters now though which is fine on Frostmane.

Yep, horde... Bugger, any suggestions? I really don't want to play on a dead server, are there any high pop pvp servers that are 50/50?

Had a feeling you would be on Horde, a lot on the Horde Guilds actually did a faction change and are now on Alliance and the others just moved.

There really isn't any PvP servers with a 50/50 split, Frostmane used to be so good years ago :( so really speaking if you want to play horde you'll be looking at going to a server which has a high Horde population such as Stormscale, I actually moved one of my Horde characters to Kazzak which seems OK but not played on it much. Either that or doing a faction change!

Create a Lvl 1 and check it out!
 
Finally got around to cancelling my sub until WoD is out. Guild hasn't really raided since clearing half of heroic SoO before Xmas, just so boring, clearing it already on three different difficulties has made SoO drag on even more boringly than Dragon Soul, this time round we were sick to death of it before clearing normal lol.

What will be sacrificed moving over to alliance? I have NEVER played an alliance character past level 30. Ever, I have no idea where anything is in the main cities. I will not know a thing lol.

If I moved over, I would probably move my rogue, make it to a worgan or what ever they are called.

Nothing is sacrificed as such, if you have any gear that is horde specific you will be given the alliance versions (different look).

Create a lvl 1 Human as their starting area is next to Stormwind and have a look around you may find your old guild there or something.

I'm not sure I'd go for a worgan but that's up to you. If you're into PvP then the Humans have the best racial as it frees up a trinket. Saying that I usually roll a Female NE :)
 
Man, after that final push for the cloak, can't really be bothered doing anything else haha. Once I do celestials and ordos. I'm twiddling my fingers. might of over played it lately. Might have to take a wee break.
 
Any OcUK'ers play a lot of Arena/rBG's?

My 3's team are taking a break from WoW intill WoD is released, so looking for people to play PVP with. Only managed to hit 2.2k before they left, and would really like to push for glad this season.

PvP is always something I've wanted to try and start, but everybody always wants ratings and certain gear levels before they even think about having you on a team.
 
Well you don't need a team to start PvP. Just farm dungeons, change JP to Honor, buy PvP gear, do arena for more PvP gear then try finding a guild or something to do RBG or Arena with more seriously.

As was said, it's very easy to get into PVP (No RNG for your item dropping like raiding)

Once you get fully honor geared (Take a day, maybe 2) its then time to conquest farm.

Blizz now have a new system, where starting now (Later in the season) you have a larger cap.

I think if you started now, you would have about 12k conquest to get, quite a few 550 items + weapons ;)

So in short.

Do BG's for honor or JP > HP conversion
Get the oqeue addon and start a pre-made to look for someone to cap with.
Do arena till you are capped

Now with capping you will be getting a higher rating, easy as pie to get to 1.4k while getting that cap, and then you can find other 1.4exp players to push your rating higher with your new smexy gear :)

*EDIT* My advice is to keep your 2's rating low and worry about 3's. Not only is 2's terrible, but you will be using 2's to get capped each week, and the lower the rating the quicker you will win = faster cap :)

£22 quid to move faction????? They are having a laugh. I can't be bothered to start a new char either as I have a really cool auction character (bidonme).

Buh, so annoying.
 
I do think the services are pretty steep in price. I wouldn't mind buying a few race-changes and such if they came down in price.

Yeah 2v2 is a bit of a joke really and most people use it for capping, healer/dps comps in 2' can be long and boring so I'll always go with 2 dps or do 1v2 once I've dropped my rating to make it a little more fun (Mages and hunters are good for 1v2).
