** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Thats the guy!

He was nice as pie when it came to me joining etc.. but after i listened in on a few raids I was just like... meh forget that, I wanna have fun not be balled at when I do something wrong!.. I play American Football for that!

Might have to throw an apply your way. I've done up to Iron Jugger in HC, so kind of okay with the tactics up until then! Whats your website?

Where did you go dude! XD

Heroic Nazgrim down.

Now just to figure out how to keep both tanks alive during Malkorok Ph2. So far they make it 80% of the way and then just go splat.

Malkorok P2 we use a solo soaking tactic. We normally run two prot pallys however monks are optimal for this!

Get your designated soaker to start the fight, so that he'll have no stacks of debuff come blood rage. Then simply arrange to dump CDs onto him over the duration of the rage. Hand of Sac (Gliphed!), Pain Sup, Ironbark etc will all reduce the damage. Combined with Kings for example allows the blood rage to be mitigated down to a manageable amount :)

Cant look at work but i will pass on the info thats for sure

Thanks

I know 10 man you can but would have thought it hits like a train on 25 man, interesting

plus anyway i am healer so its my job to keep tank up lol

For a Monk its total cakewalk, however if we take the Paladin as an example.

Hit = 6 million
Guardian of Kings = 3 million
Shield of Right. = 1.5 million
Hand of Sac = 1.2 million
Ironbark = 960k

After one more cooldown you approach 700k, which is in the realm of a regular melee strike from an HC boss.

Not to mention things like Pain Supp and whatnot which reduce damage HUGELY.

It's not a tough strat. But its not an easy one either.

Hardly been able to get on the last few weeks, training schedule is packed up now the Football season has started, and thats without the gym and normal socialising! .. hence the brief dip into PvP.. takes far less time and I can stop when I want.

When it gets a bit quieter though I'll be back to raiding. But honestly can't see much point right now as I can't devote the time needed!

Our Monk tank was away, this was with a Druid and a DK.

By the end the DK was surviving most of the time, it was the Druid making it almost there and then getting smeared all over the floor.

It'll take practice I think. Positioning yourself so that you don't fence yourself in with the orbs takes a little practice. My job was to soak the melee pools (Enh Shaman) and I was finding that people weren't killing the corruption fast enough either making my job far more tedious than it needed to be.

I love PvP, but getting %^&* off with it due to the Horde having all then muppets.

Please go back to the Alliance, it was so much better in Vanilla :)

After getting both of Illidan's Warglaives drop in my first two solo BT runs, Utgarde Pinnacle has now yielded the Blue Proto-Drake on my first run and Attumen has awarded me Midnight on my third Karazhan foray.

Yes, I am gloating!

On to Stonecore!
