There are no clans yet in WoWS, and they'll most likely use the existing clan system and not a dedicated clan system.

As above clans arent enabled yet, but what I've done is add it to steam as a non- steam game, then your friends can see when youre playing and vice versa, makes it easier to arrange a meet up, plus you can use the steam overlay to chat if need be
 
Had some cracking games with cruiser over the weekend, but sadly doesn't always turn into wins due to my team.

Seen quite a lot of people with pink names also. I'm told this is down to them team killing often.
 
Just played a game in the Minekaze - could have sworn I had the 10km torps - couldn't work out why I wasn't hitting anything. Then realised I only had the 7km torps fitted :-( Doh !

What is it with the Standard game mode that seems to end in draws so often. Had a game on twin brothers. We were 4 v 1 up (they had a carrier left). All our other ships (BBs) went CV hunting. with no hope of finding him. I started to cap and pleaded for help. All 3 BBs ignored and we drew. How hard can it be ?

Just like the game we had on friday where only enemy ship left was CV, we were in bb's miles from the cap and the DD chasing the carrier turned around leaving him on 1/3rd health and sailed in the opposite direction..... no idea why he didnt kill it, but he lost us the game
 
well I said goood-bye to the Miniakazi this weekend :(

But I did make up for it by getting the T6 :)

Which so far seem's ok - though losing 1km on torp range feels really bad.

And it's AA defence is amazing when fully specced, not quite up there witha cleavelangd, but when I was sailing with a couple of them, we totally ruinned the oppositions carriers aircraft

The 10k torp's on the T6 are better then the minikazi's, there a little faster and easier to get good attack spreads.
 
Not sure what's happened since closed BETA but there are far too my griefers and team killers going on. People being damn right rude in chat, this is really putting me off the game.
There are so many backseat Admirals who think they know everything and constantly criticising other players, its depressing!

I know I should ignore these fools but they just make me mad and I hate having to retaliate but can't help myself.

a lot of the new DD drivers just don't under stand how to use there torp's - And the IJN cruiser drivers aswell.

It's pretty poor at the minute cause of this. But in terms of that chat your right, i don't read it at all -I just follow a few ships and work with them, in the whole ignore the people who think they know what to do

Honestly just ignore them. Some people do give good advice or communicate in chat so don't ignore it completely, just the idiots. You obviously love the game, can't wait to see how your WoWs themed PC turns out, so don't let a few internet admirals spoil it for you.

Had quite a decent weekend of progress, finally finished with the Furutaka, fully upgraded the Aoba and got the tier 5 Japanese carrier - although I don't really enjoy playing carriers...

Fully upgraded the Kongo and the Isokaze. Yet to have a 'great' game in the Isokaze but I know the potential is there :) will take some going for any DD to beat the Gremyashchy for me though. Only annoying thing was I couldn't get a win in the Wyoming no matter how well I did.

Had a game last night where I was the only carrier, god that was boring not being able to have dogfights.

Bought the Atlanta and that was just silly with the amount of firepower it puts out.
 
I dont get the research bit. When I look at the Chester in the tech tree, it says its 720 stars to research, but when I click on it, it says 900. Also, the next Jap cruiser also says 720, but when I click on it, it says I can research it. Confused.

Just thought, if you earn XP with a US ship, can you then only use it to research the next US ship? And the same with the Jap ships?

i love the game , but i really hate it aswell
it gets me goat

at times it can feel slow

but i cant stop playing

it is cool just try it

just try all the trees

dont just try 1 tree, doo them all
