****** Official World of Warships Thread ******

OK I have a 11 point captain how to place in my König Albert down at tier 3 for the noob rush, I'm thinking I will go for the following skills.
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Expert Marksman
  • Adrenaline Rush
  • Vigilance
  • Basic Firing Training (for the secondaries)

Oh I dunno, having preventative maintenance and adding a less duration fire flag and premium consumable vs a noob who will have to suffer fire burning for 50-60 seconds - I know which ship would win!
while correct, i'd rather play high tier than just beat up some noobs who dont know how to play (high tier is not much better though!)

While I would agree with you I'm mainly on the NA server (forgot to disable VPN when signing up) with a much smaller player base then the EU one (I also have an EU account but my NA one is my main one). I'm thinking about dropping to tier 3 as I know following the steam release the player base will properly increase and therefore that will extremely busy meaning quick matchmaking.

I do however also agree that there is unfortunately a high percentage of bad players up at tier 10, even who still insist on sailing in straight lines and going fully boardside to battleships in open water for no reason (please don't ever change as I love deleting you lot in a single salvo!).

A lot of people at tier 10 dont know how to play, Its no different than tier 1.

I see so many people who have obviously scrubbed to tier 10 with no idea and you see dumb **** like t10 cruisers sat broadside to battleships and t10 battleships putting out fires when they have 1 fire on them.

Just had a cracking game in my Fuso, 1.2 million credits earned, 11,200 XP, 3,000 free XP and the commander leveled up to 15 points that is a game I will not forget in a hurry!.

Kraken, high calibre, confederate, close quarters expert and a lovely first blood to put the cherry on top :)

Someones running flag heavy lol

Maybe :') got a lot of them in the Halloween missions, as I got 75 of each of the economy flags would be a shame not to use them...

Edit: I was also top tier and possibly faced the worst team ever, 10/10 would play again.
Lol well done. Played 7 tier 10 games last night and won 1 but came in top 3 every game... i cry

Ive had the most amazing run of wtf.

3 times tonight ive lost my rudder or engine and just turned or carried on driving straight into obvious torpedos...
its so frustrating just watching them come in for 20 seconds wondering how my luck could be so random

I hardly ever play this game these days, it was fun to begin with but there are far too many of those inexplicable "WTF" moments in it now, its almost constant, 0 damage on enemy ships, destroyers seeming me from inside their invisibility cloaks and yes ^^^ strange consistent run's of "Bad luck your citadel was hit, again.. and again and..." when you do manege to string a few wins together

Match making is also shocking some times, me and one cruiser matched against 6 destroyers, matched into rounds 3 tiers above me so i'm massively out gunned and out ranged by everything, with a range of 15KM i'm whipped out at the start of the round by things invisible to me and 30KM + away.

The game isn't what it used to be. its certainly not fun anymore.

matched into rounds 3 tiers above me

The MM is only +/- 2 tiers unless you are in a division with a tier higher. Also a DD cant see out of smoke unless a friendly spots for him.
We all have bad runs sometimes, but overall it works out in the end.

Sounds like a good Fuso match! :D

Meanwhile, in the super-heavy cruiser / light battleship / torpedo boat that is the Scharnhorst, I schooled a few people's....

Also, does anyone like the new guns on my St Louis?

Nice battle in the shinny horse! Not everyday you get a Kraken, dreadnought, confederate and first blood! Unusual tho that you didn't get the high calibre tho as they are normally only another salvo or two once you get the confederate medal.

I see you got the camo from the Halloween missions, I was hoping to get them but I got flags instead :'(
