The trouble with GOTY threads is that I never play games on their release year. I grab them 12 months or so later for 10% of the price

So any thread asking me to rate 2021 games is a non-starter

My vote would also have gone for Valheim. It might still be in EA, but is a lot more "finished" than a lot of full releases!

However since that's against rule #3, my vote goes for Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition
