Agreed, people are being a bit hard on her. I doubt she expected to make it this far and she knows everyone expects miracles of her.

Plus it seems her opponents know she's the weak link so play to her as much as they can.

If there's blame to be attributed then personally I'm blaming John Lloyd for saying she was the best player on the court in the first set. For the fact that they've made it to the finals and it's not even a usual pairing for either of them though is great and she has been playing some very good tennis.

It's pretty standard practice to target the female in the mixed doubles though as rightly or wrongly they're usually regarded as the easier option to go for.
