What root mods can I do on 4.4.4 to get better standby battery drain? I'm losing 10%+ overnight but I'd like to lose less.

Found out it's Google Play Services causing the battery drain (I'm on 4.4.4) and research has shown some root-hackery to fix the issue which I am now trying.

there is lots on the oneplus forum about the google services battery drain. I moved over to CMOS12 and not had any issues. I think the best CM11 version was 38

I can only Greenify the whole Google app which is useless as I use the Google Now Launcher.

Now that I've fixed the Google Play Services battery drain, standby loss is almost as good as the iPhone which I didn't think was possible on an Android device.

Does anybody use tempered glass screen protectors?
I have tried several cheap protectors from eBay and they all the same problem: if I put the OPO on a table, the screen becomes really unsensitive, with certain taps not being registered, scrolls being registered as taps, etc.
Do all protectors have this problem, or is it just the cheap ones? If not, which would people recommend that won't cost the Earth?

Never used a screen protector but i have been told this is one of the best and people havent had any issues with it!
I find it's always the iPhone users who are the ones looking for charges at work. So either this says something about iPhones or their users

My OPO was like that without a screen protector on.

I've done the stuff to reduce the Google Play Services battery drain (I'm on KitKat) but I now keep being told that Google Play Services has crashed.
