Overclockers UK Grand Opening!! Saturday 10th November

Omg. What an outrage this is. I am completely and utterly appalled. Why was I not emailed about this event, and why is it in the middle of no where? My mum can't take me that far because she is useless and works 2 jobs. Why was 7970 and DGM monitor not reserved for me?

Congrats to those who got the bargains, it sounded like a decent night for those that got there early. Pizza, energy drinks, an arcade game and some bargains to boot.

Now if overclockers can continually be cheaper than the competitors or even expensive by a couple of quid then it will be my fav etailer. *hint hint* :D

Sounds like you were all pretty busy there yesterday. Glad all your hard work paid off and so many people came away with good memories and new toys.

I never took any photos, way too busy yesterday. I was going to do some magic, but the queue was longgg!

However, some guys at OcUK did have nice cameras and have took lots of photos, so I am sure they will be up today/tomorrow. :)
 
Hi there

What an epic day, I started work at 7:30am as did others on the Friday and returned home at 2pm on Saturday for 2hrs sleep before heading back to work to check figures and take the press guys out for an evening meal. Let's just say last night I was in bed before 10 and only just woke up, time for more sleep again now. :)

Thanks to the hundreds of customers who came down yesterday. :)
 
Sounds like it was all good fun then. Ill try attend any similar events in the future! Or if of open a shop a little closer to Lincolnshire. The rents cheap! And I'd happily snap up a job. ;) **wink wink nudge nudge**

True but still valid that is what they would cost you unless yuo bought somebody's elses codes that they didn't need.

Cant decide whether to sell mine for £35 or keep them...................
 
You guys could achieve next to Apple product release standard openings if you keep doing crazy deals like that :) Didn't manage to get anything I wanted despite turning up at 8.30 but it was good seeing the staff!
 
I had a brilliant day got up at 5 and got there by 8 still got everything i wanted bar the 7970 so got a 7950 on the deal so yeah great day. Cheers ocuk staff also for putting the event on and working all night long to get the shop up and running its looked fantastic.
 
Did anyone see the little lad play sleeping dogs, he was brilliant! Knocking 2 tons of crap out of people with a base ball bat. Several minutes later, gibbo I think it was, exited the game and left a benchmark running :D

Yeah I did, Gibbo said he couldn't allow it to continue in the shop for age reasons, people might offend.
