Overwatch

Look like some much needed balance coming back to the game with the nerfs to reaper and mcree. shame on them really for taking so long to revert the changes.

nice to see the mei buffs thanks for pointing that out stu.

new character is level 3 difficulty so no good for me. nice to have another healer in the game.

did I read it right lucio is even faster off wall riding? should be fun!!

Yep reduced amp it up speed percentage, but increased wallride speed boost. That and the changes to boop physics might mean you are now a Lucio main now !

Its not a boop change, I saw a video (think it was a your overwatch one on YT) that explains that they are changing HOW the boops effect you, i think you will no longer be able to move against or with a boop. Ill try dig it out.

Edit: Here it is:

Knockback

  • Knockback distance is now more consistent
  • Heroes that are flying can now be knocked back and slowed
Developer Comments: Knockbacks are now less affected by how the enemy was moving when they were hit. Instead of having small or large knockbacks that depend on chance, knockbacks will feel similar regardless of the enemy’s movement leading up to the knockback. Allowing flying heroes, like Mercy when using her Valkyrie ability or D.Va using her Booster ability, to be properly knocked back makes for more fluid, realistic gameplay

@imginy I think the change means you won't get giant boops like in the video you shared on Volskya... boop distance will be the same no matter which way the opponent is walking (or flying) when hit.

if that's true lucio lucio will get lots more boops than he used to.

Basically means free kill for lucio if he catch you on a bridge or near the edge.

I hope it's true.

The other change is that an opponent killed by a teammate after a boop gives you an assist elimination (didn't before, which surprised me).

I've been suffering from bad lag spikes recently. Ranging from my normal 34ms to 60+. It keep going up and down...
I've reset game cache, reset router etc.

Any ideas? Seems ok in quick game but in Comp it's been all over the place for the last 2 weeks.

Wired or wireless? I started to get ping spikes. Found out my power line adapter was on it's way out. Lost 50SR due to it a while back. Only times I've ever left a game of comp :(

Is it only OW that you are having the issues?

Maybe test your network for normal function, thats a good start.

Run a long ping test to something to see if there are many or regular drop outs?

yeah this change was needed.

It's really annoying when you boop someone into a corner or up in the air for your team to kill and don't get the assist

It seems to only be Overwatch - all other online games are stable.

I'm using a wired connection to router.
