And I understand that. Whatever people think, the majority of Muslims in Europe do not want conflict but I know that if they start being persecuted they will be forced to go whoever accepts them, and that'll lead to more extremism.
 
I'm not religious for reasons the very nice religious people who knock on my door have been educated about however I can sense the assumptions and hate in this thread already - have a little dignity all. People have been killed - pay respect to the situation and leave the insults etc offline.

I have friends who are very much UKIP etc and hate muslims etc and they know my hatred of their views on people without justification.

If religion is involved:
End of the day - Islam is a peaceful religion. ISIS/ISIL have ruined it's core. Same as what British people did with Christianity in the crusades etc. Every religion is peaceful but you get nutters in every walk of life. I compare football with religion as you get the same fanaticism from the minority.

Longer than what I was expecting to write but hey-ho... lol

I would suggest that your argument is flawed. The vast majority of Christians live outside Africa and they do not want to string up homosexuals. In fact Christian majority nations are the most tolerant towards homosexuals.

Whilst I dont care much for who did it. I believe forum members are allowed to express their opinions in good measure.

We dont need Dons to start deleting threads, you have the option of reading it or just muting members who are expressing feelings you'd rather not hear.

In my experience of the world and I've travelled it quite a lot, the VAST majority of people simply want to live, work, holiday, socialise, have a family, watch some sport and maybe go to church. It is the 1% who act badly, but sadly for the muslim religion they are using the fundamental lynchpin of your belief system as their rationale and that is the problem for those who don't share that system.

Tis a crap world tonight.

Extremist Christians are still Christians because they can point to the Bible where it says homosexuals are an abomination etc.
We might not like it and we might call them simple minded but that is what is written in the Bible


Same for Islam,
Extremist muslims are still muslims because they can point to the Quran and find 200 odd reasons to kill the unbelievers.

You don't get to define a religion by what its believers do or say but by what is the historical record for that religion, and Islam's and Christianity's record is a bloody one.
