Pentagon releases UFO footage

Almost certainly, it will give no real answers either way, I hope I am wrong though.

The only answer that would make any difference is a declaration that intelligent aliens with hyper-advanced technology exist and are holding a livestream public Q&A on all major platforms tomorrow.

Even if the report stated categorically that the Pentagon has investigated everything, has thoroughly explained everything and no aliens are involved, nothing will change. I doubt if that would change the mind of a single person. People who believe in aliens will have no difficulty believing that such a report was lies and they'd continue to believe and to cite the mere existence of the report as evidence of aliens on the basis that if there really weren't any aliens flying around on Earth, why would the Pentagon make a report? People who believe in the non-existence of aliens would continue to do so. People who don't know will continue to not know because they won't regard the Pentagon as omniscient. If people from somewhere else exist and have such spectacularly advanced technology that they have interstellar travel and have detected humans, they must have unimaginably advanced sensor equipment. If they didn't want to be seen by humans, they could park in the outer solar system and scan us from there or maybe send very small probes to do some close-up looking. There's no chance of humans detecting insect-sized probes sent to have a look around.

I don't get why if there was 100% proof why we wouldn't be told, some people think the World's population will suddenly go mad running around waving their arms in the air, the simple truth is we'd all go - WOW.
At the last count there were 195 Countries in the World and I reckon at least half of them would have technology to absolutely know if there are Aliens out there.
There would be countries who wouldn't give a flying fig about telling everybody and the lack of disclosure by all the World is quite telling.
I have a friend who replied that all the countries had a meeting and decided it wouldn't be in the best interest of the World to know, what a load of baloney.

I don't think everyone would. Many theists would have a problem with it, for starters. Then there would be people concerned about the real problems. These hypothetical people from elsewhere would instantly render all human technology obsolete. That would cause problems. When two civilisations with vastly different levels of technology meet, there are real problems. It's never gone well on Earth and the difference in technology would be much larger in this scenario. That's assuming these hypothetical other people are no more intelligent than humans. What if they are?

I think that the vast difference in technology could negate that. Could midrange human sensor equipment detect unimaginably more advanced alien tech? Maybe not. Especially if it was very small. If I was an alien with such advanced technology and I didn't want to reveal myself to the relatively primitive civilisations, I'd park a way out and send tiny probes to do the work.

That's a genuine LOL from me. What on earth makes them think such a thing is even slightly possible? Multiple successive governments in every country all keeping the same secret absolutely perfectly is about as likely as aliens stealing Santa Claus' sleigh for a joyride, getting drunk and flying up and down the Thames, singing Bohemian Rhapsody.

Not likely we would all go wow. Far more likely we would end up with some sort of religious/holy war(s) and/or mass religious suicides. Not sure what would be worse the Alien's being godless, aliens worshipping one of our gods or some other completely different god. Which ever of the 3 happen it will be a massively turbulent time for all who have faith. Many will be unable to cope with there fundamental way of life being ripped apart and wont be able to accept they have devoted there life to a lie. Instead many will suffer from cognitive dissonance and the next thing we know faith leaders unable to let go of there power are calling the Aliens the devil in disguise, this is a test or sign of the End of times. The other faiths are working with the devil e.c.t, e.c.t. It is likely to get very messy very fast among most of the big religion's.

And crayfish

Oil

It's interesting because over the years, the US army and other government departments, have maintained a track record in funding junk science projects which are total fantasy, such as project stargate; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Project and a whole load of others.

These "patents" are essentially the same thing, most if not all of them are based on pseudoscience and fantasy. If you look at what they're actually proposing, it's the same stuff that crazy inventors have been building in their sheds for years - spinning magnets, capacitors, gyroscopes, etc - none of it has ever worked and never will, because none of it has any basis in reality.

Then you look at the numbers, and it turns out they spent about $500k on it over three years.....

Yep, I'm a big fan on Jon Ronson, if you haven't read "The men who stare at goats" (never seen the film it's loosely based on) you will see just how crazy out of the box the Pentagon can be thinking at times.

New guardian article: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jun/17/ufos-us-report-national-security-concerns

A group of senior American politicians have warned that UFOs pose “national security concerns” after getting a confidential briefing on a highly anticipated report on unidentified aerial phenomena that is set to be released later this month.

Last week Luis Elizondo, the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, told the Washington Post that UAPs posed a serious threat.

One theory is that UAPs could be advanced Chinese or Russian aircraft, but Burchett dismissed that in his TMZ interview.

“I think that’s ridiculous. If the Russians had UFO technology, they would own us right now,” he said. “It has to be something that’s, that’s out of our galaxy, it just has to be, if it is in fact is real.”

Elizondo also dismissed those suggestions.

“We are quite convinced that we’re dealing with a technology that is multigenerational, several generations ahead of what we consider next generation technology, so what we would consider beyond next generation technology,”

Adam Schiff, the Democratic chair of the House intelligence committee, described this week’s meeting as “an interesting briefing”.

“I did learn things that were certainly new to me,” Schiff told reporters. “But I think I’m going to leave it at that.”

Stupid pentagon and experienced military personnel, not being able to recognise and getting worried about what are obviously lens flares, drones or stories made by special effects companies.

They do seem pretty stupid. Saying outside our galaxy and several generations ahead of what we consider next generation technology shows how stupid they are. I bet they don't even know what a galaxy is. Now if they said outside our solor system I could have taken them more seriously.

What is wrong with saying something is "multiple generations ahead of what we consider next generation technology"? The implication is clear... it's technologically beyond anything that we consider to be in development that would be the next logical advancement of our own technologies.

And yeah clearly he used wrong word with "galaxy", but the context of what he meant was also clear.

Lue Elizondo has been to Washington with Danny Sheehan to meet with the IG team and it appears he has seen a copy of the UAPTF report (although would not confirm or deny).

Looks like
- Report will be release on time by 25th June
- Report only covers incidents after 2004
- Report will confirm non of the unexplained objects can be explained by US technology
- Report will confirm incidents of unknown phenomena are continuing weekly till present day

He said that the deletion of his emails and files is being taken very seriously by the investigating team.

You can hear the interview here although there isn't much more than stated above:

I read somewhere on Reddit that the briefing didn't really excite the people that were present. I'll see if I can find it. It wasn't "the big one" though.

Congress got a bit of a preview summary but have not seen the full report.

One congress member said he "wasn't on the edge of his seat" and basically anyone looking for aliens would be disappointed. I think we all know what the report will say now. This report is all about recognition of a phenomena not some kind of disclosure that the Pentagon know what it is. I don't think anyone understands it yet, but we are moving to a position where it is being taken seriously.

I think it best to wait for context because I am sure that UAPs may well be of ‘concern’, however since they spend such a tiny amount of money on these and the Military are not acting like they massively care, it doesn’t add up. I mean if a credible threat, why aren’t they on a high alert status as if being attacked? If Russian fighters kept buzzing them every 5 mins, you can bet they’d be acting differently, Aliens with technology so far advanced? nah.. Just sit back and relax..

I read the responses so far as being to deal with the likes of Luis Elizondo / Nick Pope (People that make a living from keeping this notion going) that have riled up the media a bit and fed them to push this "These are a serious threat to our national security, OMG, why are the government not doing anything to protect us and our armed forces"..

The issue is, all the main rhetoric of 'technology several generations ahead' and all the outlandish claims of 'defying the laws of physics' are always from people making a living from this that rely on keeping the myth alive.. Some of the video's they've claimed show 'acceleration that defies the laws of physics', it then turns out through careful inspection to be things like the Gimbal behaviour (or similar)..

I think most people would love to know that Alien technology has been found, it would be absolutely amazing, however that's what not being peddled, it's FUD to make a living, so it's ramped up to the notion that Aliens secretly live here (under the ocean), whilst laughably supposedly having technology so far advanced that they keep getting caught by the crappest of our several generations old technology and can't quite make it over the hill when disabling/enabling our nuclear assets..

I'm sadly not expecting anything exciting from the report, other than some UAPs are still unidentified and that of course they will take them seriously to allay fears of 'security'..
