^ very pretty little bird, unusual composition but it works quite well. Wouldn't worry about the DOF, looks sharp enough at that distance.

Thanks. The habitat is probably a better guide but it's where farmland with a bit of tree cover meets saltmarsh on the Dee Estuary. There's plenty of birdlife, rodents and rabbits about so no shortage of prey. It ran out from a grass verge and legged it down the road so I got out of the car and took a walk, trying to second guess where it would appear again.

A few from Normanby Hall in Lincs last weekend. i stopped under a tree for a bout 5 mins and they came right towards me.. didn't seen too bothered by me either.
