That's why I tend to buy from them only, prices can move a lot in 28 days, other places like Richer Sounds are good but I think they only do like a 7 day after purchase and only up to a certain amount.

How is the HDMI-CEC on the LG, I found it it worked 50/50 on the KS7000 I had but that TV has lots of issues. Ive since turned this feature off on my current Sony but if it works as intended on the LG b6 I might use it.

HDMI CEC is working fine for me on the LG it works with my Denon x2300 av amp /PS4 PRO and samsung 4K player no problems.

Good to hear, although I may just disable it altogether, I use a optical cable for the tv sound and built in apps for sound to my bar. I don't mind just turning on stuff separately.

Does the sound bar support HDMI ? if so you could use ARC then you would not need a optical cable.

It does, its a Yamaha YSP2700, I guess I could try it out, I just had a few issues with it on the KS7000, which put me off using the feature.

Hope so, I will give it a go and if I get any problems with it I will just turn it off and go optical for the TV/apps sound.

I dont think the audio would work with CEC turned off.

Thank's, that's what I thought.

Because I want a Harmony remote soon as well I have decided I will turn Simplink off and just add in a optical cable for sound from TV. Will not lose anything like this as I have my devices connected directly to my soundbar anyway, the optical will only be for sound coming from the TV tuners or any built in apps I may use.

TV arrived this morning, damn that's a big box.

The price has dropped another £100 on Currys website. Does anyone know how many times you can get a price match with JL? If they drop to £1699 themselves and I get £100 back, can I claim any other price drops that happen in a week / 3 weeks?

I imagine it will be as many times as possible within 3 weeks as you could just easily return it and get it cheaper else where, I would contact them though in case they have some sort of policy against it like you can only claim once or twice for e.g.

There is a £100 off voucher as well on hukd valid at currys for the C6, seems like it's valid on the B6 as well some have reported.

Just purchased the T.V and i can't seem to find Game mode HDR. Tried looking for a firmware update via T.V settings while connected to the internet and it says no update found.

My firmware is 04.30.65 but the latest one that includes Game mode HDR etc is 04.30.95.

After downloading it to a USB stick i'm having troubles unzipping it as it says "The archive is corrupt" Any ideas?

Thank's, I had it on 10bit on the KS7000, just wanted to be sure its the same.

I also am a bit unsure about some settings in advanced video settings, there is two boxes stating allow 24hz and 50hz for games and apps. Should these be ticked.

Yes tick them both 50hz is for uk content 24hz is for movies from blu-ray
