Picked up a LG OLED55B6V

Yes copied all settings.

I've got the 65" B6 so I'm wondering if these settings were from a 55" B6. Maybe that's why it does not look so good for me.

As for skin tones everybody had jaundice.

I still prefer warm 1 myself.

Maybe, I use warm 2 and before skin tones had this mucky yellow sheen to them, using the above WB settings removed it a lot.

How many people have the c6 how do you find the curv. Going to look at one in store tomorrow to see how subtle curv is

Pros for the curv
  • More immersion especially when gaming
  • looks nice lol
  • 3d
  • reviews say its a better performer then b6
Cons
  • it would look weird with a non curved soundbar
  • No straight lines when watching football (is it that noticeable?)

What settings are you guys using for HDR? I feel I've got Dark Room nailed but can't seem to get HDR quite right. Watching La La Land in lossless UHD HDR (**** film but scores very highly in reviews for image quality) and I'm not blown away by the image quality.

I use HDR standard, pretty much default settings but I turn off any processing stuff thats on apart from real cinema which I leave on.

I think I'll hold off OLED until ultra wide sets come available, 16:9 seems too much of a compromise. I only watch movies on the TV so having one like a PC UW monitor makes far more sense.

Just about to buy one of these if someone could clarify :

I want to output dd 5.1 and dts via the optical to my Lexicon dc2 decoder. I've seen some people it works, some it doesn't.

I wish to use the built in amazon video in 4k app.

Anyone successfully done this?

It passes both DTS and DD 5.1 via HDMi on my setup so I would presume optical would work fine.
