PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I love being a camper in this game, i waited in a shed for 15 full minutes just prone on the ground, level 1/2 gear...some dude rolls up in a jeep full lvl 3 gear with 8x Scope etc clearly spent the past 20 minutes moving round looting good items, like a GOOD player....comes inside the shed and gets 1 popped by my shotgun hahahahaa.

The only way to do it man, Saves you the effort!

People will be more keen to stick with an alpha game that is showing obvious signs of improvement, with a relatively good road map ahead PLUS very good communication with the devs :)

The gameplay is spot on, but if we don't see improvements with the lag then the game will die a death and steam reviews will go down the pan.

In solo only maybe because on the flip side I wouldn't want somebody I kill to be able to relay my location to their team.
Agreed. Not only that but an awful lot of the suspense in this game is trying to work out where one of your team mates just got one shotted from.

Would be a shame to lose one of its best qualities imo.

Edit: was thinking I'd like a spotting system between team mates so you could place a 3D pointer upon a target be it building or location but I'm not sure if this would be OP. It would certainly take the hassle out of coordinating a team but would also mean as soon as one spots you their whole team can zero in .

Two examples of team players in solo matches tonight from myself, both teams completely incompetent but able to 'cheat'. Note that I don't use shadowplay all the time so had to use the keyboard shortcuts to enable it all while this was taking place.

Absolute nuggets the lot of them, didn't take any damage until the redzone killed me.

e: should also say this was in the same match, about 5-10 mins between pairs and the poor bloke in blue who was following them.

The team play in solo might be the reason why some people have 50% winner winner chicken dinner rate. Or they maybe they are just really good.

With the ways these guys were playing I still think the guys with high win rates are genuinely that good and don't need boosting. Its like most FPS games, you're either good or have to play with good people and then you end up dragging them down.

Duo mode is different imo cos you both go into it knowing you'll be fighting teams of two and so play differently.

Damn - 87,550 - 24-hour peak, game is really dying ;)

I don't think this is a flash in the pan, the growth is organic as more people pick this up and realise it's one of the most fun online shooters in a long time.

picked this up at the weekend.
loving it so far, but i'm absolutely gash at it. not got into the top10 yet in over 10 games :D:eek:

I'm pretty much living and breathing this game and I have only won twice in squad and never in solo. I think I have played about 80 solo games.

think i got into top20 once, but only because i didnt see a single soul until the game area became quite small.
but i'm also not a big fan of just camping in a specific building hoping someone walks in so i can pop them. :o

It will be overtaking H1Z1 soon, which must be a concern for them
