PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

My skill level has simply plummeted since I was away for 2 weeks. 2 and a half weeks ago I was ranked 78th on the EU Solo rankings, I'm now 58,868th. I've gone from being a great shot finishing in the top 10 , 80% of the time, to being an awful shot who cant hit anyone and struggles to finish in the top 50 :)
 
So a guy dives into a few bushes 150m away thinking he was hidden. To me it was a pimple on Justin Biebers chin no cover what so ever. Easy kill.
 
Its annoying that the test server is US only atm, we had a go on it and I got smashed by a player that was clearly in a different time zone, hopping round the room as I fired a full AK mag and got zero hits.

not the game issue as its clearly like playing and FPS to brazil and getting rubbish ping, but annoying that we can't have EU test servers yet.

Also WTF is up with making weapons glow? Thats horrendous, half the fun is finding a weapon that somebody else missed by accident. It's not like theyre hard to find....
 
Yeah must admit the glowing pickups has annoyed me.

I get why but damn it looks **** and I'm not really convinced it's needed as an aid to noobs. Isn't the entire basis of a survival game being that it's punishing to new and old players alike.
 
Glowing pickups should be optional, but I'm not sure I like it in general. Feel like it takes away from the exploration/looting phase. Actually looking for items instead of just the glows is more satisfying.

Well, be that as it may, it's under development regardless of stage. Have they stated an official release date when it will no longer be under full time development and a released complete product?

I often wonder if games are kept in early access because they worry that they will lose some of their userbase if they come out of early access. For example, game reaches end of early access, all stats and items unlocked etc are wiped, portion of the playerbase who have enjoyed playing the game for the last year or however long decide that they dont want to start all over again fresh and have to build their stats and unlocks up again , feel that theyve got their moneys worth out of the time in early access and decide not to restart fresh.
 
Found a nice bug, was underwater trying to drown myself to end the game (way out of the circle, no car), blue zone came in, stayed under for 5 minutes, didn't drown, didn't take damage from blue. Surfaced and was the same, game timed out before I got to land to test if it was permanent.
