Playstation 4 being announced February 20th?

Given that this is just a launch title and in early development, the possibilities are breath taking.

And this is before the console is born. Can you imagine what the games will look like in 2018 when the devs start pushing to the limits?

Am I talking in here too much? I'm so excited. :p

Killzone gameplay in 1080p

Dem graphics

Shame it seems it's running on an i7 pc with a 7970. I'm hoping that the PS4 will be able to do this as it is actually quite stunning.

Edit - Might have been Watchdogs that I mean not Killzone I cannot remember.

I think your mistaking it with watchdogs.

More than likely. If the AMD hardware was not ready yet it could still be running on something else.

Tbh I cannot see any reason why the PS4 will not look like that, it is known hardware this time that has been worked on for quite some time. I imagine from the release games are going to look pretty stunning.

I need to stop reading this thread, so excited! I can't wait for Fallout 4 and hopefully if the platform is easy to program for Polyphony won't take eleventy billion years to bring out GT6.

I think it was Watchdogs on a PC, someone mentioned it here but dont have anything other than that. Thogh I dno what that proves other than it run pretty damn poorly on that PC, or that PC was setup badly...

I dont mean to say it but its a Ubisoft title, so its much easier to believe theyre incompetent.

ps3ud0

The thing is with PD, theres not a single thing stopping them making GT6 good, the PS4 doesnt appear to have a real choke point like the PS3 had. In other words if GT6 stinks its all on PD and their penchant for wasting time on track days...

ps3ud0

Only half the cars will receive the Full HD update though... :)

Also you'll start from the back every race and get disqualified if you even so much as come within 3ft of another car or your tyre sidewall brushes anything that isn't track. :D

On a serious note, console gaming isn't really "for" me but good luck to those of you that do get one and enjoy it. :)

the night scene watchdogs at e3 seems to look a lot better then the latest daytime one, also daytime one seems blurred a touch or is it just me? also noticed liitle things like when the girl who gets mugged drops her cup it dissapears and same with the muggers knife right after.

killzone looks alright, when he throws the grenade with lensflare type effect down the stairs, how come the potted tree doesn't even move or get broken in the corner...none of the rubble moves an inch either by the looks of it, something you'd expect after seeing those 1million blue blocks fall out of the sky.

really hope small things like this exist just because the games are at early stages.

drive club looks mint

edit just noticed that 1080p gameplay is different to the one showed at the conference...plant pot and rubble still have same problems:)

Fallout 4 and this hardware just go together, imagine Skyrim + mods with people in it!!!

It's going to be amazing no doubt. :D

There's nothing stopping them from bringing the series back to its glory days, like you say they spent far too much time faffing around with unimportant garbage and they lost sight of what a Gran Turismo game should be like. I can understand if there were hardware constraints but the overall quality of the game was so hit and miss, the content underwhelming and the execution of what little content was there was so various in quality that overall it wasn't particularly great to play. That's without even mentioning the development time, costs and the fact that the multiplayer which could have been epic was nothing more than a tacked on afterthought.

as a 360/PS3 gamer - who has leaned more and more across to my PC for gaming this year - I'm not impressed tbh - looks good yes - amazing though ?

and my GPU is 2 years old (GTX480)
