Playstation 4 being announced February 20th?

Best part of the stream was that Square Enix old blokes anticlimax E3 announcement, shame we didn't get to see the console its self. :(

I'm guessing the ps4 comes with that black bar camera thing but very surprised in no console shown, dissapointed in that but personally feel they have shown some decent stuff its just interesting too see how much of that is launch stuff or exclusives

So theyve got E3 and TGS to really flesh this out before release, I guess E3 is when we will get the proper details...

ps3ud0

No console..

PS4 might as well called it PC4

Sounds like they are moving away from the cell type processor and its going to use a more PC friendly architecture.

Will allow for better cross development on multiple systems fro developers... most of the rest is what we usually see on announcement days..

I'm glad I stayed up to see what the console looked like. I think the design is fresh and feels like how the next Playstation should look, very futuristic and techie... Oh wait hang on a sec... !!

Why do people care so much about not seeing a plastic box? What it looks like means nothing to me.

we didn't want to see the box, we wanted to see the full tech specs of whats inside the console.

They obviously haven't finished it yet, and given the number of people who turned up with multi platform titles that will play on both PS3 and PS4, the whole thing felt pointless.

There was one or two PS4 exclusives shown, but the rest was just stuff thats coming out soon thats coming to PS3 and PS4. Wowwee

not blown away really, only thing that got me going was watch dogs. first time ive sen it and i cannot wait, might redeem ubisoft for me! (i dont like being thought of as a pirate, purely becasue i am a pc gamer too!)

I don't really see what difference seeing a plastic mock-up of the console would make.

Yes it may not really matter what the box looks like, but they barely even went into the specs. They talked about GDDR RAM, polygons, far far too much emphasis on social stuff. That's it? I don't think there was anything announced that we genuinely didn't know before. So what was the point?

Well I was impressed by quite a few bits. The killzone gameplay, quantic dreams tech demo and the aquare tech demo. Equally disappointed though at the amount of social aspects they're pushing. Facebookstation? And also I'm annoyed at a lack of an actual ps4.

I quite like the new pad, and the built in motion thingy, for depth perception. COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

I'm not overly impressed by what I saw in that 'meeting'. Too many tech demos and not enough live gameplay. Yes Killzone looked good, but it's always played second fiddle to stuff like Halo. In fact the only game I was truly interested in was Watchdogs, that looks like Splinter Cell meets Person of Interest.
