You'd have thought they would try and get out a Vita version of Killzone, imo it's always been a better series than Resistance.

id even like to see games like bastion or the new walking dead games on this just to tie it over until something good/exclusive hits! still cant bring myself to finish uncharted

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/05/29/introducing-snapshot-coming-to-ps-vita-and-ps3-this-fall/

I’m proud to announce that Snapshot, our 2D puzzle platformer, is coming to PS Vita and PS3 (with cross-platform saves) this fall. In Snapshot, you control a robot named Pic. Pic carries a high-tech camera that can “capture” and remove objects and parts of the environment. You can then paste the picture back into the world causing all the objects to come tumbling back out. If you’re looking for a new puzzle game with a twist, keep reading!

The game begins with Pic powering on for the first time in a dusty abandoned laboratory. Uncertain about his purpose and why he was built, he wanders into the forest that surrounds the laboratory. This is where you’ll first start to use your camera to take photographs of objects. The first chapter of the game will hit you with a series of puzzles involving moving objects around within the levels, and it’s easier than you think. If you want to reposition a box, simply snap a photo to capture it, then paste the picture back into the world and watch the box fall back out of it.

Looks interesting, that it captures the momentum as well as the image of the item is cool as you can see at the end of that video.

Big Sky Infinity

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-05-29-really-big-sky-sequel-announced-for-ps3-and-vita

Big Sky Infinity will launch on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita this year, publisher Ripstone has announced.
It has joined forces with UK-based indie developers Boss Baddie and VooFoo Studios (Hustle Kings, Pure Chess) to bring the twin-stick shooter to PlayStation platforms.

Big Sky Infinity is an iteration on Boss Baddie's shooter Really Big Sky, released earlier this year on PC, and marks the series' debut on console. Big Sky Infinity includes the previous game's procedurally generated scenarios and introduces new modes, enemies and touch controls.

To celebrate the announcement, Boss Baddie has knocked 75 per cent off Really Big Sky on Steam until 2nd June. If that's still too rich for your blood, a free demo is available from Boss Baddie's website.

Sony prepping PlayStation Plus revamp with top tier free games, expansion to Vita. E3 press conference announcement expected.

Sony is readying a revamp of PlayStation Plus to be revealed during its E3 press conference, Eurogamer understands.
Multiple sources have indicated that part of Sony's E3 press conference, set for Monday 4th June, will be devoted to running through the revamp, which is designed to help convince more people to sign up to the premium subscription service.

One of the ways Sony will do this is by giving subscribers top tier games for free, and implementing proper integration with PS Vita. Plus on Vita will offer Vita exclusive titles and DLC and cloud services that mean you won't have to connect the handheld to a PlayStation 3 or a PC to back up saves and other content.

Currently PlayStation Plus, which costs £39.99 for a one-year membership and £11.99 for a 90-day membership, grants full game trials, automatic updates, cloud game saving, discounts and early access to content. Sony says Plus offers content worth around £200 a year.

While a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson declined to comment on our report, PlayStation Plus content manager Ross McGrath expressed his enthusiasm for the service on his Twitter page.
"By the way, if you don't have a PS+ subscription, now is the time to get one. For real. Just get 3 months if you aren't sure. Trust me," he said.

Earlier this month several possible tiers of subscription options were highlighted by a user survey designed to poll potential customers on what they would like Plus' rewards to focus on, including offering new releases free of charge.

One possible tier would offer 61 new "A" quality games a year, but with only one PS3 release a week. Sony's suggested price would be a $7.99 (about a fiver) monthly fee, with three-month and yearly price plans also available. Another option offers 80 games a year, mostly "C" and "B" quality, for $10 a month (about £6). Titles would be at least a year old, although 10 full PS3 releases would be offered every week.

The revamp of PlayStation Plus marks the beginning of a wider effort to improve the PlayStation Network across multiple devices over the coming year, and, we've heard, may include a new, redesigned PlayStation Store that also facilitates purchases from a proper PC web store similar to Xbox Marketplace.

Eurogamer has also heard from a separate source that Sony has secured the cloud gaming services of either OnLive or Gaikai. Reports indicate this deal could be announced at E3, although it may not directly relate to a PlayStation console, rather, cloud gaming through Sony televisions. Both Gaikai and OnLive declined to comment on our report, but in an email to Eurogamer Gaikai teased "some major announcements in store for E3 that have the potential to change the future of video games, game consoles and how we play".

Trouble is stuff they give you on PSN+ is never really yours as you can only access it if you have the membership, it's more like rented.

For the amount of games I have had through the PSN+ since it started I don't see any problems with things being "rented" I finish a game and generally never touch it again anyway.

Weve had lots of stuff through the PS+ membership. Some of it naff, but a few nuggets like the sam and max, back too to the future games, marvel/zen pinball. The first year was £40 Including free 3 months due to psn outage and I think I paid £30 for 2nd year (special offer). The online saves backup was invaluable when my PS3 was out of action for a while.

Overall for the cost of one retail game a year, I think you get your moneys worth from the various freebies (games/avatars/ps1/minis). I just have to not rush into any psn purchases as the probability of it being a ps+freebie soon after is quite high.

I just hope the new tier system doesnt raise the price. Im happy to keep paying £40 a year for top tier, but no more. They just beter not take anything away ;)

I would have liked PSP support, but they seemed to have dropped the system like a lead baloon.

Downloaded the Gravity Rush demo, not played yet as I've been all over Batman: AC.

Will be playing it in an hour or so.

Anyway, another new game got announced today from the guys who made Mutant Blobs (excellent) which will be available for the PS3 and Vita.

Guacamelee!

Set in a world inspired by Mexican culture, Guacamelee! features a down-on-his-luck agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player travelling through “The World of the Living” and “The World of the Dead” on his quest to rescue the girl he loves.

Youtube app out at the end of the month.

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/06/01/youtube-coming-to-ps-vita-soon/

Coming this late June, YouTube will be available as a free downloadable application for PS Vita in You Tube serviced territories* via the PlayStation Store on PS Vita. With the YouTube application on PS Vita, you can watch millions of YouTube channels and videos on the stunning 5″ OLED screen, from comedy to gaming tips to today’s viral trends. The YouTube application features many of the functions you’re already familiar with – you can easily search for videos, choose favorites and make comments. Your personal YouTube account is available right on your PS Vita by logging into your account, you can access your channel subscriptions to watch videos from your favourite creators.

I've also seen a tweet saying that 30-40 new PSP games will be supported next week but I've not seen it from anywhere official yet.
