Couple more questions about buying a Vita in the US/buying US games and a UK console.

1) will I be able to download the PS+ games I own if the console is US and the account is UK?
2) Will I be able to download FFX-2 HD on a UK console if I buy the game in the US?

Thanks?

Danganronpa 2 arrived today, aww yish. Cannot wait to settle down to this later, plus it'll fill the time till Destiny is out :)

Tempted by this, hearing good things! Need to use the vita hardly touched it this year except for trying remote play on a few games! Is the original game worth it?

The original game has good characters and story, I'd advise playing that before the second though due to the story if you are thinking about the second one. They're very story driven games and is almost a visual novel (with puzzle elements etc).

Fez is awesome!

PS+ is really worth it for the vita. Got a really good little library of games built up now, that when added to the retail games I have, add up to a really good collection.

Would Freedom Wars be another Soul Sacrifice/ Monster hunter clone? I enjoyed Soul Sacrifice especially the story and the fighting, just a a bit repetitive but was my Vita seller actually. I didnt find a reason to buy Delta (waiting for a true sequel). I couldn't play monster hunter though for some reason which i cannot explain either psp nor 3ds/wii u i tried the demo's and was put off

Hey guys, would I be able to play Crash/Spyro classics from the PS Store with a EU vita? As far as I can see they are US only. Is there a workaround?

I can double check later but im pretty sure i have crash 1 and 3 on my vita that i purchased on ps3 years ago! All on same account ofcourse!

An article on this matter from a while ago http://www.vg247.com/2012/08/28/vita-compatible-psone-classics-full-list/

I may be wrong but if you can buy them via the vita store, they should play! Also now it should say if its compatible on the games store page. For example it would say compatible on ps3, psp and vita maybe? Think its to the left or in the small print

Hey Kinger, I realized I was reading years old articles and they'd brought Crash and Spyro to the EU store now. The EU store still doesn't look that great =/

Oh well, it'll do.

I took the plunge and bought Borderlands 2 finally. Not sure what all the fuss is about, it plays fine frame rate wise and hasn't crashed once after a couple of hours play. It is a fantastic game and pretty much what I thought the norm for the vita would be. Why all the hate for it?

Thats good to hear as I planned on picking it up

I used to get slow downloads but thought it was my crappy internet and router reception but now that I have moved out and have 38mbps and am <1m from the router my downloads are still slow. Is this a My Vita thing or a PSN Server thing?

PSN has never been speedy for me either tbh. Can still take an age to download stuff if you get on it at the wrong time.

So excited just pulled the buy trigger on ebay for a PS Vita with 16gb memory card, charger and case for £115 - it had loads of pictures and has had a screen protector on since day one so I'm fairly confident of mint condition. Its the OLED model so TXK (which is already and waiting on my PS3 harddrive) should look amazing.

Buying into PS+ early should pay off massively for me as I have a bucketload of good vita games already.

I've also treated myself to Soul Sacrifice on PSN as it looked a cool actio RPG.

If anyone has a list of favourite Vita games or recommendations it would be appreciated :)

Highlight games imo would be:

Killzone Mercenary- Easily the highest quality game on vita. Really good.
Borderlands 2- Great game. Pretty good port.
Arkham Origins Blackgate- More high quality. Good game
Persona 4 Golden- Updated port of a Japanese PS2 RPG. Really quite brilliant, if a little too japanese for some.
Final Fantasy X HD- Good RPG
Metal Gear Solid HD collection- MGS 2 and 3 in HD.
Street Fighter X Tekken- Really good.
Dragon's Crown- Really addictive and quite deep side-scrolling beat em up. I loved it.
The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2- Great interactive stories.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Not my cuppa, but a lot of people like it

They are the best 'big' games available imo, but the biggest draw for me is the great indie collection you can build up. Look for deals/PS+ and you can get an awesome collection going. Some highlights:

Guacamele- Awesome, one of my favourite games!
Stealth Inc- Been on PS+. Really good little puzzle platformer.
Hotline Miami- 'nuff said
Fez- Playing it atm. Really enjoying it.
Thomas Was Alone- Charming and simple platformer
Don't Starve
Spelunky
Terraria
Lone Survivor
Many more I can't think of right now
