Plusnet Discussion Thread

If you're a new build FTTP-only customer (assume docklands?) then you probably won't even have a copper phone line anyway. I think it's still only BT that offer fibre voice.

Nah I'm in a WBC FTTP area and that was the only choice. I do still have a copper phone line, but that's been disconnected. The phone is via the ONT.

Slightly confused at the moment as to how the whole Fibre engineer system works..

I ordered Fibre from plusnet on December the 3rd - Install date granted for 18th December. The neighbour ordered Fibre from BT on December the 5th - Install date granted for the 14th December. Same cabinet, both on self installs.

Are BT completely stupid?

When it comes to activations im pretty sure BT Retail customers are getting priority treatment, i ordered on the day it went live in our village along with several friends who are with BT and they all got activation dates earlier than mine.

Do you really need to ask that question?

:D

What an awful company, we all pay our line rental, access to equipment should therefore be equal!

They're not supposed to due to Ofcom regulations but still seems that way.

Does for me too, but i think you need be a registered member to see it.

I'm not registered. You need to be a customer to be a member. So all I can do is view certain posts, but not actually post.

If I could, I'd go ask about the FTTP service there. Bit silly really.
