i was down to 6mb last night, quick test this morning had me at 30mb from speed test so part way back to normal
Thanks, I use thinkbroadband to monitor my connection, three days of 80-100% packet loss and now an almost unusable connection, just about ok for surfing
Hmmm, I was just about to move to Plusnet, now I'm not so sure... Is the congestion BTw related?
). My speeds stay the same with very little packet loss and I'm on a long line.no probs here using BT fibre. Defo glad I didn't move to Plusnet now lol!

when i got the internet back i went to their website and now I am connected at 70 Mb.
Obviously not the end of the world - I just hope it's not going to do this every month![]()
The Openreach Fibre to the Cabinet products use a DLM system that has three main modes, the only control a retail provider has is to pick which of these three profiles your new FTTC connection will run on, or swap you between the various modes.
Standard – best overall balance between speed and stability for general internet users.
Stable – prioritise stability over speed for IPTV videoconferencing, home workers and businesses transferring data and IPTV.
Speed – prioritise speed over stability for online gamers.
