Pokemon GO! (2016)

All the servers down for some sort of maintenance.

Yes, confirmed on that server twitter feed. Aparrently a game update was rolled out, which led to servers taking a hit.

Just wish they would announce this stuff, their approach to customer service is to go meta-ostrich and bury their head so deep that clearly, nothing will go wrong as they wont be able to hear it.

Luckily I hadn't dropped my 2 X lures and an incense or I would be more than a little miffed. As it is, just a wasted journey and petrol :p

Slow to login but they are working as said above.

Their FP and Twitter page are quite explicit "Keep an eye here for updates". I yet have to see one update which relates to the company actually doing anything for the gamers! It's always a 3rd party!!

I saw a Dratini for the first time on the way to work today! Damn thing ran away after breaking out of the ball twice though. Wish I'd put down a berry! :(

I did get a Parasect a little while later though.

Since this game is such a battery hog, I've been thinking of getting something to help me recharge it while away from a charging point. Are any of those PowerCore's worth getting? I'd prefer one that was small enough to carry around in a pocket. And It would need to work with an IPhone 6S Plus.

Sales have rocketed since last week and prices going up. I ordered one this morning, and should have it tomorrow, ready for the weekend...have a picnic in Southampton, and the local FB group are good at sharing where the good stuff is. Gonna Magikarp-load near the quay.

I've got an Amazon basics 10000 mah one and it's pretty much the same width and size as my phone (Note Edge) so it's easily pocket sized.

Also got a larger Anker one, but it's about twice the width the other one so not quite so pocket sized more one for your bag.

11.53MB For Android. Guessing you're on iPhone where the game is double the size for some reason

My guess is they need to add in the Google services on the iPhone like maps and stuff, while Android they can just link up with Google Play Services to access Google related services.

+1 to the Ankers, the PowerCore 10000 is pretty compact.
