If you want faster, shinier, more stand outy then there are many more options.
That would be a Ferrari in my book.

oh another question..... what are the best options on a 997.2 to look out for? Is there a set of no brainer stuff it really needs, and then some select things which would be nice to haves?
This a rather interesting read: http://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...many-15-16-gt3-s-have-engine-replaced-99.html
Its interesting how Porsche have now added / changed the wording about track use and the GT3's / GT3 RS's from 2015 onwards.
OK thanks, didn't test drive the S on purpose so I could read up on the comparisons a bit more (excluding the obvious power difference)To me the Cayman is ended powered. Keep looking and a deal for the S will come up
981.Which version of the cayman?
Hence asking the question because the jump in price is pretty big percentage-wise. If it really is worth holding out for the S over the 'standard' Cayman then that's OK.They're great looking cars. I possibly...just possibly prefer the looks over the new model. From recollection you can pick up the 2.7 from about £30k but you'll be looking at at least 40 for an s so it's a fair difference.
For £40k you're looking at the new model price. So it makes the decisions a little harder.
