I would come join you guys but unfortunately I'm off to the States (work, not a holiday,

) on the 5th so I need to spend time with the other half!

eXSBass, if you want to see some interesting, brutalist architecture you should consider checking out the Barbican centre. (link I wandered through it during my photo walkabout on Saturday. I was seriously :confused:

- it is an odd development! (Also v. ugly in my opinion, but if you like to study architecture, it may interest you.)

Brutalist (i.e. 70's Soviet Block stylee) architecture can also be found near Russell Square, at the Brunswick Shopping Centre. Personally, I can't stand the place - looks so ugly - but apparently it's won architecture awards etc.

Horrible place but the food at the chinese restraunt next to the cinema rocks!

I'll just add i've got an Oyester card zones 1 - 3. People who are coming it might be wise for you to sort out transport as we will be moving? Am I correct or no?

exSBass: Yes we'll be travelling about. Meetup is between half ten and eleven at Liverpool Street Station (mainline not underground) the half hour gives people some leeway with trains.

I'l probably be getting the 09:51 from Billericay (I live quite a way from wickford station so I can't be arsed to walk plus I get free parking in Billericay

).

Should get to Liverpool Street just before half past. Enough time to get a coffee and bacon sandwich
