Okok, I'm a dumbass :p

Ha, agreed :D

The overall PC market is in decline. PC gaming is relatively much healthier. In fact its one of the only bright spots in an otherwise stale industry.

Yeah a lot of people can't seem to make this distinction. Hence why loads of PC is dead threads and articles appear.

Traditional PC market is shrinking. The gaming PC is market is actually growing, with people buying more parts for gaming builds than at any other time.

Not as much as those dodgy numbers on here suggest though :p

Yes Titan X is listed, scrolled down to 0.06%

Woop I'm in the 0.06%

Eleet !! :D:p

Bravo. People seem to get so wound up about crap and rumours it's unreal. I've been following this thread every day for two months or so and it's achieved nothing but arguments and bickering from people who take this way too seriously.

Even the whole xbox vs ps debate isn't this full of crap.

Probably because the Xbox and PS actually got released..

AMD have taken so long in bringing something new that it's sent things into a frenzy !

After cards get launched it will be the typical arguments.. 'Ooh that card sucks because it uses 20 more watts', and 'Ooh my drivers are better than yours'..

Until then people have to entertain themselves while waiting, we only have rumour / speculation to go on..

The Kepler pre-release thread was actually quite fun. This thread OTH,seems more like an E-PEEN scoring match at times.

Plus, another thing is that the time period between the HD7970 and the R9 290X was around 22 months.

If Fuji is released this month,it would be around 20 months.

The Titan and Titan X were seperated by over two years.

I am not sure why people think Fuji is delayed TBH!

Yeah the main reason this time being that Nvidia released Maxwell high end cards last September which have been unanswered for 9 months.

Nvidia have taken massive market share pushing AMD / ATI to an all time low of around 25% market share.

This has caused a lot of unease. Once the new cards are finally here, things will likely go back to the usual childish, 'my drivers are better than yours', and 'that card is so power hungry it uses 20 more watts'. Literally not much different to the type of stuff in this thread. Difference being people are uneasy right now, so are more tetchy.. In two or three weeks in will back per the norm. pretty much like it is now but with less things to be petty about.

Since when have AMD shipped a GPU in a skanky old box, come on guys arguing over the boxes is a new low in pettiness surely :p

We've had fake benchies, fake mockups, now fake boxes... Jeezus what will come next!? :p

R9 390 comes with 2816 cores, that's a lot of performance for what could be a really decent price. The 390X has quite high stock clocks yet TDP has dropped by a big chunk, what witchcraft is this?

No chance, i really hope there are air cooled cards. But the rumors say AIO only.. :(

Much rather get an MSI Gaming card if they had one tbh.

The rumours have said a lot of things, take them all with a pinch of salt. There are as many saying air + water as there are water only, or 30,000 cards only or 30,000 is fake.

Loads of contradictory rumours right now. Only a few more days until we find out what's what. No point posting sad faces worrying lol. Just wait a few days and we will find out..

Looking forward to E3 this year ! Dis gonna be good :D

AMD Radeon Fury X Graphics Card Pictured, Uses 2 x 8-pin Power

You just never know what's going to come your way on Facebook on a Friday night. Take this evening for me: there I was sitting on the laptop minding my own business when up pops a notification about new messages to the PC Perspective page of FB. Anonymous user asks very simply "do you want pictures of skylake and r9 fury x".

With a smirk, knowing that I am going to be Rick-rolled in some capacity, I reply, "sure".

But that will not be the case will it as that would be Barmy. AMD are not going release two cards at different price points with the only difference being 40mhz on the core. It just is not going to happen.

Looks like it could come with less shaders and TMUs. Not sure if ROPs will be affected as well.

Yer, that would be a silly move from AMD but then again, it is AMD we are talking about here :D

True, AMD do tend to gimp their lower down cards less than Nvidia do. I expect the full 4GB will still be usable on the lower models.

Going to be interesting seeing how these stack up. 6GB/12GB's of GDDR5 vs a lesser amount of HBM at possibly twice the speed.

Is more always better? I mean would you pick a 4GB DDR3 card over a 2GB GDDR5 card? Because moarz ram ! Doubtful.

I am wandering if it will mean stutter when going from GPU to system but I'll hold judgement until you know we actually see the performance. HBM is an unknown quantity atm.

Only 3 days to go.

About buying at launch,

If these are only 4GB, it will totally depend on whether that causing hitching / stutter during gaming. Obviously there's no point moving from a Titan X if Fury X's memory amount holds it back. You have to ask yourself though, why would a GPU be designed for 4K if it's memory was going to be a limitation?

None of us can really say anything yet, we need to see how thing performs before we really say..

So close now..

I thought the HBM memory on these were stacked ? Could that not mean if you can see 4 modules there could be 8 so 8gb would be possible ?

I'm sure I have seen a pick of an 8GB HBM module showing 4 modules dual stacked....

Or something like that....

Yeah I thought the same, the limit for HBM1 being 2GB per stack, i.e 4 x stacks would mean 8GB, but this 4GB rumour has persisted to the point where everybody is fairly certain these first chips are 4GB only.
