Good effort - I clocked 58 and 65 on mine.

Nice pink bike
And what are you doing in the mirror![]()

Why would you need an 1198S AND a 1098R? They're so close to eachother they may as well be the same bike.
live long and prosper
ags lol

Our 1098R is over 190bhp, the 1198S is 180 (both have full Termi setups). The R is nowhere near as easy to ride as the S, it's an animal but it's a real sense of occasion when you ride it. Not to mention it's a great bike to have in the collection.
The S is so much easier to live with at slow speeds, it doesn't jerk about, the fueling isn't as snatchy low down and you can actually hold a balanced throttle without the engine hunting like on the R.
Not sure what went on with my phone camera, the red's look pink! Anyways, will do me thinks
2 things, first, new termi stickers on their way as one side has fallen off/left the back of the old sticker on and I wanted larger stickers hehe. Secondly, when you see it you will laugh![]()

Would probably feel very slow to you now. Imagine the speed of your TL1000R with the handling closer to the ZX10R (but still not quite, it was good for it's time but not compared to modern machines).made me lol
I've never ridden a Ducati, but would bite someones hand off for a spin on a plain vanilla 916, just to see what everyone raved about all those years back..
It's the torque though, as lets face it, when will you use those speeds more than pulling away.
Still pat my girl when she pulls me out of a situation I thought I would not be walking away from, or when I am at a set of lights and open her up to see people turn around half a mile down the road in curiosity to what that huge roar is... Makes me smile it does, makes me smile... What biking is about
