I dont work for them, but am lucky enough to be on good terms with one of the managers there who's an absolutely top guy. I'm considering selling mine and upgrading to OB1i with the same modifications, but I need to have a serious sit down and work out if that's affordable hehe
As for their price, when you appreciate what you're buying a bit more it's understandable why they cost so much. Each pair is handmade from the ground up. Also every single component is measured to tolerances that are in engineering terms on a par with F1 cars. Should your speakers ever break or go in for servicing your file is pulled up and then any replacement parts are fitted with the same values so your speakers are totally identical after the fix. They're expensive yes, but they're bloody worth it, and they hold their vale too.
