Finally built a new hi-fi rack. (based on the TNT flexy rack design) About £120 in total for 8 shelves. (would have been nearly £40 cheaper if i'd used exterior ply) Luckily the guy at B&Q cocked up one of the cuts and started again with a whole new sheet and gave me all the good cuts, so i have 14 shelves.

Very similar but the front and side's had curved fronts,i made one for myself and in-between the shelves i found some black/white pipe what you use for plumbing and found the size perfect and made the rack look finished.
Cant remember the name of the company i used to make the shelves for but there were a lot of money back then.
I cannot recommend it highly enough. A good friend of mine at work has a dedicated cinema room with an HD projector setup with soundproofing etc and both he and I agree that this setup trumps his without a second thought. The blacks are really deep, the colours are extremely vivid, and the motion is perfectly fluid. Feels like you are actually in the film itself!
