That looks very nice.
Love the lamp.

Thank you :)
Had to convince the wife but now that its all in she loves the look. Now i just need to buy the soft furnishings......but i am too lazy to go shopping.

Its a pity its only a 3.1 set up at the moment but i will be adding 2 rear speakers in the future.

PS. The lamp is from Barker and Stonehouse along with the sofas.

Some amazing stuff in here, puts mine to shame! But today I was finally able to move my set-up out of my bedroom into the living room.

Not done the rear speakers yet as I didn't really feel like lifting carpets. But it has made a hell of a difference to the sound, I think being on a concrete floor helps a lot. Happy with it for now anyway :)

Finally have all my setup back in after replacing the fronts with 2050i's then going back to the 2010i's and re-wiring my network hub behind the tv. Still a bit to tidy up and a new sofa arriving at some point and decorating will mean taking it all back out again.

^ They're nothing short of superp!

I've installed a Roksan amp now, Sonos connect into the CD input and my AV amp into the bypass input. It's stunning now, music is hugely improved and movie listening seem clearer as I imagine the Pioneer isn't straining as much. I'm considering modding my Sonos connect to upgrade the DAC and power supply. I also need to get the new speaker cable on and bring the 300's away from the wall a bit which should improve things as well.

S2KIP: you could do what my parents have done with a similar hifi unit to hide the leads.

They have cut thin ply to the size of the spaces at the back, painted them the colour of the walls behind, then mounted them hanging down from the back of each of the shelves, allowing enough room for wires to exit at the bottom of each gap. It's really simple and does an amazing job of hiding all the leads behind the unit!
