Yeah that is an option I've been exploring but what I really want is a BDI stand, so I'll probably put up with it for a bit till I take the plunge.
 
Finally got the TV wall mounted and new benches built. Now need to sort the lights out as they are quite old and some of the blue LEDs are failing (plus I need to sort placement out for a better wash). We originally had 2 Ikea lack units bolted together for around 4 years but found recently the legs were cracking down the middle. With a 35kg TV on there I wasn't too keen to see how much longer it would last! :o

Got a new stand, much better! Once the flooring goes down I will tidy it all up properly.

Plans:
Put the cables from the TV into the wall.
New flooring.
Hide surround cables under the floor.
Listen!

Still love the TDL's, just didnt fit well in a 5.1 setup and wanted some room back so got relegated, Arcam struggles a bit but hey ho.

Monitors i've grown to enjoy as the size makes them unobtrusive and they don't do a bad job with music.
