Can you pinpoint where you want the widgets to be placed? The clock seems to appear in the middle of the orange and it won't let me move it up any higher (as a widget)

Brummie - having a few problems. I bought the app and when trying to add the weather icon - it claims I need to buy the pro version. Also - am I right in thinking the file you have uploaded at the top of this page is your config? How do you activate it? I tried the restore from card feature and when its done - nothing happens or appears.

uninstall and start again. mine said need pro version for firstcuse. you spot on with config file.
will try help youvlater when i get to a pc.

You need to now long hold and add the widget. The widgets used from memory are a 1x1 for battery, 2x1 for time, 2x2 for date, and choose 2x2 for weather also.

Thing I've noticed is that I have to set the columns and rows of the launcer to 8x8 which means any other widgets on other screens won't display properly. So if you want this, it's minimalist only

I think I got it off appbrain but I uploaded it here for you.

The calendar is "Pure Calendar widget". It's paid for but it works straight out of the box with little configuration. I think a lot of people on here use it.
