Been looking through this entire thread making my SGS look pretty...how do i get snowstorm to show like that, i can only get the 4 smaller icons, not the big one with text, also cant move the tex around or anything??

Ta :D
 
What are the snazzy wifi/3g/bt etc. switches people are using? Specifically the one's Grahame, leoncc and snapdragon have posted? They're nice and minimal :)
 
SwitchPRO most likely, that's what I use :) by default it looks pants, but set it to no background in the options and it looks a million times better :D

Other option is Extended Controls... but I'd put my money on SwitchPRO :)
 
Hi I'm using widgetsoid its free on the market and it's superb

Also using launcher pro plus along with glass widget for clock/calendar/news (also free)

when you add the widget it is 4x2 that makes it look like that with the 4 small and one large with text. if you want it to look exactly the same graphicaly tap the widget press menu (on desire use appropriate button on galaxy) under skin hit download more. I believe the skin is 4x2_grey_old-style_hd or maybe andriod-style-hd

personally I prefere 4x2_gloss_hd

Ended up finding it mate cheers :)

Have uninstalled it now though :p
 
Have tried both LauncherPRO and am now trying GO Extreme, both of which screw my data allowance widget app up, resetting all its options everytime my phone goes to standby :(
 
See if your rom settings has anything about locking home app in memory... should stop widgets reloading when you return 'home'

Failing that, try a different data allowance app? :D
 
OK little update using various parts found throughout this thread plus the excellent wallpaper supplied by Khaaan! this is what I have come up with:

Left Screen

Leedriod 2.3d, Circle BAttery Mod C, LauncherPro+, Batstatt, Snowstorm for weather, Folder organizer for the bottom of the right screen and SwtichPro Widget for the top of the right screen
 
:D Unfortunately you're not allowed to have 08 if the car isn't an 08 or later as the plate was available!

on the phone the statusbar blends in with the background, dont know why it doesnt on here :confused:
