Finally installed the SDK, here's what I have atm. Right screenshot is what happens when swiping the SMS icon, so a swipe of each dock icon launches a folder of stuff
I don't need a weather widget so I just have date/time and battery info. Then also a bookmark widget alongside a calendar one. Both are clear skinned versions of the LP+ variants.
The edges look worse than they are when screenshotted (quality scaled down), looks amazing during use.
I've finally joined you lot (I think its some sort of Peer Preasure after coming in to this thread with a BlackBerry!!)... Anyhew... Here's my Stock 'Gingerbread' Xperia Arc.
In a constant state of fetteling (which I knew I'd do the moment I saw how fettleworthy the Android OS was!!)
I'd recommend a LauncherPro & Folder Organizer combo like mine above (screenies with purple fireworks background), it'll clear some of your clutter from the bottom half of the screen at least
Still using my trusty old pulse!
Running launcher pro plus with themed launcher pro widgets for facebook and calendar. Weather widget is no longer available on market but if somebody want it I can upload it.
I haven't changed my DHD home screens for so long, strange though looking back through this thread at how different mine looks from only a year (and two phones) ago.
The app drawer is just organised alphabetically... you can create groups for stuff and then choose to hide/show different groups... but I just find that to be too much of a PITA lol
The app drawer has lots of apps in... Just like my sock drawer has lots of socks in... I just live with it lol
Fair enough. Yes I tried using ADW's category system but its a bit useless as there is no easy way to switch between categories. It would be nice to have a swipe (horizontally or vertically depending on the style of drawer) to switch categories.
