I like you, my wife doesn't understand. I see that red glowing bubble on her iPhone and huuugggnnnnn, I just wanna update but she gets annoyed that I'm 'fiddling' with her phone.

I have to update her phone in secret, I feel sordid.
 
I'm still rocking with a clean and simple layout. Nova Launcher + WidgetLocker.

Is NovaLauncher really worth it over stock JellyBean? I used to use it on ICS but now can't really see the point of it?
 
If you aren't bothered about extra features like app drawer folders, gesture based stuff, adjusting the animation speed amongst many other things, then no it isn't worth it.
