But some devices I use aren't rooted (Nexus 7 for example) I much prefer a cloud stored alternative.

Anyway, we're going somewhat off topic. I guess a little more on topic (but likely to continue arguments :p ) is my preference to TV Show Favs card stack widget ;)

He'll have made a widget in UCCW / Zooper for the pop up.

Popup Widget app isn't actually a widget itself it's just a shortcut, so you'd have to make the bottom bar in UCCW / Zooper then place a Popup Widget shortcut over the time and set it with a blank PNG icon. Have that brought to the front so when you tap on it, it will open up the UCCW / Zooper widget that you've linked to it.

And then of course you can set hotspots for that popup widget to take you to your alarm clock / calender / battery setting or what ever.
 
Running Proper KitKat 4.4 on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (Google Image) Flashed retaining Root :)

Also Flashed Google Search and GEL for Transparency!! :cool:
