The fact I haven't changed it means Im very happy with it. Normally changes most days.

Love looking back at page one onwards, how we used to cram as much as we could onto a screen ( and we had to have seven of them ) keeping in mind they were much smaller and with much lower resolution than we have now.

It's like how everyone use to have a spam of icons on their desktop screen and all those toolbars on IE
. Everything is a lot cleaner and minimal now, I think with high DPI phones it's a waste to cover the wallpaper with icons and widgets.

If your screening doesn't constantly move non stop with lovely powerpoint animations its a waste of space.

I've never seen the background in a Windows phone do anything though, so can't be that?
Lots of pretty background pictures that don't do anything. That IS the point.

I don't get it either. Windows Phone can integrate the image onto some tiles. iOS has that thing where the picture moves slightly when the device is moved. None of then really do anything.
