LOL!

I frequent all three, but Vegas and Thurso less so, hence why they only have today's forecast. Cov is home, which is why I have a longer forcast for it.

If only Vegas was my long forecast...
 
Oh a quick note in case anyone missed it.

That actually is Launcher Pro, with a sense dock. It does mean having only one dock instead of 2 or 3, and it does mean using an invisible icon to make it look ok.

So, the dock is set up with button 1 as app drawer, buttons 2, 3 & 4 set to phone app, and button 5 can be set to whatever you like. I have it set to the market app.
 
Completely new to android, just stuck the Shubcraft build on my HD2 runs very well, with only the occasional lag here and there. Its like having a new phone :)

My own created wall paper. Would like a bigger clock and a percentage meter for the battery but no idea how to change it :o

The widgets I used on that home page are:

Digital Clock widget
Battery life widget
Snowstorm
SwitchPro (bought)
Launcher Pro Plus (with the 5 row layout)
Folder Organiser (bought) - this is for some the shortcuts, so they open up into more shortcuts :D
Dock background from Launcher pro forums.
Still looking for better icons for some of the more obscure stuff like LogMeIn etc

I also have Pure Calendar Widget (paid for) and use some of the launcher pro plus widgets which are excellent :D


I'm currently working on an "orange and black" theme. It's the icons I really am struggling with. May have to import some generic ones into Photoshop and have a play.... :D

I now have mine rooted, but you don't need root to get this type of layout. I desperately wanted the ability to wirelessly tether so I went and rooted and stuck on a 2.2 ROM (LeeDroid 1.9a if you are interested)

how do you get your bottom menu to display text other than icons?



Atm the only widgets i have are

beautiful widgets - paid
SwitchPro - paid
LauncherPro = paid

random wallpaper
Galactic Core (live wallpaper) - free

i can't seem to get half the apps from andriod market

you can do it with launcher pro, go to a forum like xda, and look in the android section for icons, or go to the launcher pro forums and look, then download them to your phone.

press and hold on the icon you want to change, select change icon then custom, and find the icon you want to replace it with,

Sorry to be a pain mate, i can't find where to download the text for the icons on the forum? Can you point me in the right direction please! Thanks if possible :D
