It's two widgets: Extdate for the date and Minimalistic Text for the weather

. They just go together nicely!

How hard is it to change the theme and button layouts and icon styles and positions on android, does it require a diferant rom for each or the abiliy, some of these look so far from the original.

Pardon the questions as I am completely ignorant as far as android is concerned, and I write this from my Omnis 7 (hides behind phone)

No ROMs or rooting required, just apps and creativity! Try LauncherPro or ADWLauncher from the market: they should get you started

Customising is easy, just another program and usually a lot of dragging and dropping.

Dropped a DHD rom on to the Desire nothing custom just stuff i needed quick access to
