NVP whats the name of the notes widget in your screenshot looks rather cool :)

Very trivial question here while I'm trying out launcher pro. Using the default launcher if I go to the app drawer, then an app like calculator for example, when I press back it would take me back to the app drawer page. With launcher pro, the back button takes me back to my home page straight away. Is there a way to change this?

Got a long way before my desktop looks like any of these here :D

I don't think so, the reason being that most people don't want that feature I don't think.

Most everything flicks to landscape just fine, desktops aren't too hot in landscape though, mainly because due to widgets there's no way to easily fit things in the same way landscape as it was in portrait... If that makes sense.

Personally I hate landscape and have auto-rotate turned off. This does get a bit annoying when viewing photos from the gallery though (there should be an option in the gallery menu to rotate). Only other time I use it landscape is when I'm forced to ie games.

You could almost certainly get Tasker and configure it with a rule such that if you're in Gallery it'll turn autorotate back on :)

If you use LauncherPRO you can disable auto rotation for the home screen, but it will still rotate for gallery/browser etc... auto rotate on the home screens does my head in lol

I'm only concerned with land scape for when I'm in the car, I mount the phone in landscape usualy as it just looks better on the dash so being able to look at incoming calls and the media player like that makes it a lot easier.

No idea, as I haven't used the stock mail app. Looks better? More features? *shrugs*

Even if they were identical you'd still have to use one or the other and considering the DHD comes with the Gmail app you'd obviously use that if you use Gmail.

Cheers, I've been putting off buying beautiful widgets :o

I only bought it for that one widget lol i did use the bigger one for a while(bout same size as htc weather clock) but back to small again

bought launcher pro too but use Zeam now its a hell of a lot faster and smother than Launcher pro
